Disappointed with office
Dr Macgill is very nice and a great doctor. Unfortunately it is hard to recommend his practice due to the office staff. You cannot reach the office directly, you are sent to a centralized calling center. They are nice when you can actually speak with someone, but they are not helpful. Which is very frustrating, and even more so, we are owed a substantial refund and they wont give it to us. We have been waiting for over 7 months!!!! I have been begging to speak to a regional manager as the billing manager is not resolving the issue. But no success.Completely unacceptable how the patients are treated. And now I am reading other reviews and seeing that this is an ongoing problem for patients.

Professional & knowledgeable.
He took the time to answer all my questions. Doctor and staff very professional. I'll be seeing him again in 3 weeks to discuss surgery as injection didn't help. Still in a lot of pain. LOVE the shoes he recommended. Hoka.

The doctors are good, but the “business” of the practice is awful. Always long wait in the office and you don’t get seen until well after your appointment time. Also,, you cannot call the office directly. All calls go through a centralized call center where you wait on hold for as long as 20 minutes to speak to a call rep. It’s like institutional medicine. Totally disconnected from the patient. If you want personalized service and a good patient experience this is not the place for you

Dr. MacGill was fine, the office is a rip off. They want to charge you up front an arbitrary amount via a charge card, then when my insurance company EOB comes I was overcharged by $127. Instead of sending me a refund, I had to call and then be directed to their website to complete a "Refund Request". This is poor business practice, you overcharged me and I should not have to "request" a refund. Why can't that office bill the patient like any other doctor's office does after insurance pays? They wanted their money upfront and of course it was more than I should of paid and then you make me request my money back. Scam.

Came in with shattered heel . He told me I strained my ankle and was going to send me home I started screaming from pain and fire on my heel . He sent me for more xrays and finally realized my heel was shattered. After two surgeries I had to have a third from different doctor to correct mistakes.

Dr MacGill has been treating me for a trifecta of bone spur, bursitis and tendinitis of my Achilles. He is very personable, professional, on time and takes the time to explain everything along with options. Most surgeons want to jump into surgery but he has tried numerous procedures to alleviate my pain which has worked. I would definitely recommend him and his staff.

Went to Dr. Magill in 2016. Paid my copay. Three years later I receive a collection agency letter for $38.23. Never once was I billed by this doctor and after 3 years, he turns me over to collection. I don't even know if the balance is correct because I no longer have that insurance to check. Very shady billing practices. I paid it because I protect my credit always. Stay away from this doctor's office!! An office billing can make or break a doctor's reputation.

Very pleased with Dr. MacGill. Took time to explain my injury and show me my MRI and options. The office staff is a whole other story. They are incompetent! I have never had a decent experience with any department. Still waiting for an overpayment refund payment since Jan. 4. Appointment was made with the wrong doctor and had to fight to get it made with the correct one. Asked twice for the minutes of my appointment, the girl got distracted and never gave them to me.

His office called as I was driving to my appointment that I needed to pay $208 up front as a new patient (which I paid.) My insurance statement later showed the actual amount due was $70. When I called to inquire, I was told to fill out a refund request form. After waiting a MONTH without a refund, I called and was told they are still processing it and it could be another 2 weeks! I received the same answer 2 weeks ago. Will I get the same answer 2 weeks from now. It's troubling!

I have been to 4 different podiatrists in the past year. My results were very unfavorable. Dr. McGill is in a category all his own. He took the time to tell me what he saw, and gave me different options and treatments. He was in my opinion how any doctor should be. I highly recommend him.
