Information is not up to date..Dr Smiy is Great
Dr. Smiy is very nice, but this information is NOT UP TO DATE! Had his as my Md for almost 3 yrs.Listens well, good mannerisms. Liked him very much. Wish i knew he moved closer and got out of Tenova!

Dr. Smiy listens to me when no other doctor ever has! He actually looked into the roots of my medical conditions and figured out why they were happening.

Problems with office staff
Dr. Smiy is great. He is very personable and competent. However, his office staff is quite deficient. I had blood and urine sample taken for my labs. However, I could not get the results. Not sure if they lost them or simply don't respond to inquiries. I have called the office and left messages asking about my lab results 5 times with absolutely no response. Not good!

I really liked Dr. Smiy but when he refused to order glucose strips to test my blood sugar I found out he does not believe in prediabetes. I had previously had abnormal blood sugar levels and wanted to keep a watch on how I was doing. My insurance company even sent me a glucometer and I needed a prescription for the strips.

Dr. Smiy is a straight shooter. Friendly, truthful, up on new Technology. down to earth. I would recommend him to any and all. He is the last of a great generation of great physicians.
