Patient Appreciation
Doctor is enormously well-informed about today’s methods and treatments. He has interfaced very well with my internist in creating an effective plan of treatment. He is very matter of fact and I love that.

Family member was in hospital and he was doc on call. RUDE, CRUEL ARROGANT while my family member felt awful. He did not care at all. Would never recommend him to anyone. Other families were complaining about him on the floor at the same time.

Arrogant rude disrespectful doctor
This doc needs to retire. Dad was in hospital sick and he was on call. Seemed annoyed he was there and made obnoxious comments. He should be reported to patient advocate.

Insensitive and lacking compassion
This man was coarse, cruel, and verbally abusive towards my critically ill elderly mother. I will never forget him or his treatment of my mother. Beware. There are probably a number of fake reviews for this man. I could not believe that any doctor would scream at an elderly woman and verbally abuse a patient at their bedside who is critically ill. My mother was a physician and a great one. She did not deserve this horrible treatment from someone who should never be called a doctor.

Alan Zunamon is a wonderful Cardiologist.
I have been a patient of Dr. Zunamon since 2019 and he has been absolutely great, both as a Physician and a kind hearted soul. At one appointment Dr. Zunamon recommended that I consider wearing compression stockings as part of my treatment and within minutes we were on his computer looking at what type would best serve my condition (Jobst). Alan Zunamon has my complete trust as a Physician. Each time I meet with him, I sincerely believe he has my best health interests in mind. I highly recommend Dr. Alan Zunamon for anyone seeking a smart, caring and dedicated Cardiologist’s.

Absolutely Horrible
I have never written a bad review about anyone. However, I would not want anyone to have to experience what I went through today. From the moment Dr. Zunamon walked into the room, he had a bad attitude! Instead of saying something like, "How are you today", he said "WHY ARE YOU HERE!" in a disgusted manner. He was very rude - beyond terrible. Not deserving of one star. It was such an extremely uncomfortable appointment. I am 86 years old and I have never been treated so badly by any doctor. To be honest, the man was just MEAN.

Very approachable
Because of a cancellation, I was able to get an appointment with Dr. Zunamon to discuss results of a cardiac stress test that was likely to lead to an angioplasty. He took his time, was very patient and personable.

Wonderful doctor!
Dr Zunamon was exactly the doctor I needed-he discussed my test results and my concerns clearly in language a lay person could understand without being the least bit condescending. I so appreciated his honesty and his respect for my opinions. I'm almost disappointed that I don't need to go back (God willing) for a year! Dr Zunamon is fantastic!

Grunted just assessment in a singular noise. When asked a follow up question, he told me I was fine. Didn’t bother to access previous test to compare on Epic. The tech whispered something and he ignored her.

I saw Dr. Zunamon on 10/7/21. He was the only doctor I could get into see for an appointment. My doctor was booked until May of 2022. My heart had been “off beat” for two months - slow - fast. I fainted. My lips, feet and hands were numb. I could not walk or drive or do any daily activities. He cut me off when I tried to explain my concerns and made a comment of how we Americans think about our health and how we aren’t as elite as we think we were years ago. He then asked when was the last time something bad happened to you? He asked why my generalist just did not order a test for me. He was so mean as a human being and awful as a doctor. He should retire or be retired. I made a follow-up appointment immediately with another doctor. Why doesn’t Northshore University peer group address this? Many bad and threatening reviews.

Horrible, rude, bad bed side manner. First thing he asked. Why are you here. I explain chest pain and blood pressure. And he says , so? I left upset. I reached out after frightening blood pressure numbers and chest pain. His response was that he sees I saw another medical department he no longer will help. Thank goodness I do not have to see him again. Never see this doctor.

He is the most rudest, most arrogant, self righteous doctor I have ever been to. I have never yelled at a doctor before, but this doctor, oh boy! He implied that I was wasting his time, that he was ordering tests to humor me, and actually said to me, and I quote..."I stopped spending an hour of my time with people like you." I gave it to him and put him in his place. He actually apologized, but DO NOT waste your time with this doctor. Find a doctor that has good reviews across the board

Gives the entire medical profession a bad name. I visited Glenbrook Hospital for a stress test. After 16 minutes on a treadmill, he comes to the exam room...no eye contact, no introduction, no hand shake. He spends (literally) 10 seconds thumbing through the ekg, says everything is fine and walks out. The whole interaction was less than 60 seconds. He didn't explain what he was looking at, why everything looks good...he didn't ask about my history or why I was even there. can't wait for the bill

Simply the rudest doctor I ever met. I was with my 92 year old Grandmother in his office for a first consultation; he was condescending, repeatedly interrupted her attempts to answer rapid-fire questions, and told her she was wasting his time! I asked him several times to give her an opportunity to speak, and told him he was talking more than she was - at a first meeting! He stormed out of the room when she (in tears) said she wanted to leave. Wonderful staff, but choose another doctor.
