Dr. Albert Ruttinger, DO

Picked a DO because thought would be more interested on a holistic approach. Very anti vaccine but very aggressive in treating lab values

Doctor has a good qualified staff. Friendly, efficient, and professional. It's easy to make appointments. Dr. Ruttinger listens and is not dismissive to our questions. He's always happy to explain and doesn't rush you out until everything is answered to our satisfaction.

Treated my precancer spot on my ear that a dermatologist never got to go away. He explained the importance of being thorough about treatments. Very helpful in giving written prescriptions so I could go through GoodRx to save cost of meds. Treated us as an important patient. I love the fact that blood draw is in his office instead of going to a lab.

He listens to your symptoms and then responds with the proper treatment.He has helped me through many illnesses.

Unfortunately my mothers doctor of many years had to retire due to her health and we were referred to Dr Ruttinger by her insurance company. We decided to stick to the insurance company that she has been with for years and made an appointment with him even though it meant travelling to Surprise from Wickenburg to see him . Every time we see him he is so condescending and rude. Plus having to wait for over an hour each time we have an appointment. Yesterday's visit was the worse! He always asks what we are in to see him about even though it was a followup visit. So when he asked what we were seeing him for I thought it was for the results of a recent test he had sent her for. He informed me it was not and began reprimanding us. He said if we wanted the test results that we should have asked the front desk to look for them so that they would have time to get them before the appointment. How would we know that we would have to ask for something the doctor had ordered??? RUDE RUDE RUDE!!

He rules patients with unprofessional conduct!

Office girls are extremely rude and unorganized. I have never been spoken to like that on miscommunication THEY had with THEIR supplier. If you feel you are doing someone a "favor" your in the wrong field.! Nothing short of Horrible!!

Left him 2.5 years ago! Best decision ever!! Kept giving LOTSS of meds but never explained why! Wish I would’ve left him years ago!

Wouldn't even give one star. Horrible experience. Was there for over 2 hours total. Waited in the exam room for 55 minutes....he stood outside the door and discussed what they would be having for lunch before he came in, with no apology for being late. FYI: they chose Chilies. Did not read the chart. Floated through everything with absolutely no concern for patient. Very generic .Could say more, too angry at this point. NEVER RETURNING.

Very rude, won't answer questions and is arrogant. Has time to talk politics but when you ask him a medical question tells you that you need to book another appointment. We are seeking another doctor.

My husbnd and I have been going to Dr. Ruttinger for 4 years. We are always treated great in the office. My husband has breathing problems and they are always able to work him in. I know that has saved him from having to go to the hospital a few times.

Front desk doesn't even acknowledge you. More concerned with ordering lunch than patient care. Was told they were sending my prescriptions to my pharmacy but never did. Had to call them back to get it all straightened out. Rushed through my appointment so fast that my questions weren't answered. My chart was mixed with another patients chart. As he was in room with me he started pulling the pages out and threw them in the trash. Didn't even shred! Decided to switch that same day.

Rude, condescending, arrogant.....says NO to everything you ask him. Will not listen, just lectures that HE is the doctor.
