I've been chronically ill for over a decade, and I've seen A LOT of doctors. Dr. Childs has the best bedside manner out of all the doctors I've seen. The wait times are a little ridiculous, but I believe it's because he truly takes his time with each patient. I trust him with my life. (Literally...he's performed several surgeries on me!) He explains everything in detail and makes you feel seen as a patient, which is a rare quality. Highly recommend this doctor.

Compassionate, highly-skilled, phenomenal physician! You may sometimes have a wait, but please do not get discouraged. They are very busy, try to help patients with difficult problems, spend quality time with each patient, and provide exceptional care! Staff is kind and knowledgeable! I have been a patient for 22 years.

Dr. Childs has been an angel on earth for me. My family was blown away by his bedside manner & expertise as a surgeon. My husband is never impressed with a doctor & raved about Dr. Childs because he has been the only doctor that has taken me seriously & found the problem. I had the same surgery two months ago that he performed last week with inconclusive results. Dr. Childs found bowel adhesions, endometriosis & a benign bladder lesion. He removed all lesions & fixed my bowels. I‘m very pleased.

Have seen this specialist for over 5 years. During that time I was sent to countless physical therapists, with no improvement to my pain. My pain is the result of being date raped and a surgery to the area gone wrong. Still in horrendous pain, feeling hopeless and suicidal, Dr. Child's, AFTER 4 years, FINALLY prescribes medications that make my pain go away.!!? Now disabled, he chooses not to prescribe my medication. Medicaid drs. don't understand pelvic pain !

Dr Childs took my case that no other doctor would take. I was having major problems and Dr Childs was the only doctor that believed in me and the problems I was having. I am a firm believer that God put Dr Childs in my path because he is the doctor that saved my life. Dr Childs is a very Christian and godly led doctor. A man that admits he is the surgeon but operates under God leading him and guiding his hands is a physician worth having. I thank god for Dr Childs everyday.
