Attempt to save life
My husband went into cardiac arrest. Dr Manuel came to the hall and asked if I wanted CPR. Told him he had just signed 12 days prior he wanted resuscitation. He said with an attitude “I’m giving you 2 minutes.” I went in to hold his hand and Dr Manuel said “you’ve got one more minute” still with that tone of voice. Earlier a family member saw him roll his eyes at something Dr Heumann said as he was leaving. Had I witnessed that I would have had him step outside so I could ask him what his problem was. I wasn’t up to discussing this with hospital management at the time since my husband passed but complained later. I certainly hope he was disciplined. He’s in the wrong profession!
