His compassion and caring takes the anxiety of having cancer off your chest. He explains everything so you understand what you have and how he’s going to treat it. My husband and I both feel so thankful to have him for my doctor.

He was great!
It was my first visit with Dr. Brown. My previous oncologist moved out of the area and he was my second oncologist, the first having retired. My first two were amazing caring doctors. Although he was running behind, more than likely from seeing all the new patients he inherited when my former oncologist left the area, he took extra time with me and was very concerned about all aspects of my care. I was very pleased after meeting Dr. Brown and look forward to flourishing under his care!

My Lung Cancer
At 77 years old, I was diagnosed with small cell lung cancer, I was terrified. I was in the hospital for five days. Dr. Brown told me "it's an aggressive cancer and I'm going to treat it aggressive." He answered all of my question and his bedside manner made me feel like I could "beat" it. After four cycles of chemo and two months of radiation, my PET scan showed that I was cancer-free. I will never forget Dr. Brown and his staff and highly recommend him to every one.

Dr. Brown is absolutely amazing. When you're facing cancer you need someone who is caring and compassionate as well as knowledgeable. He is all that and more. He listens to your needs and concerns and helps you understand things better. I am very thankful I have him on my side. Going thru chemo is scary, but Dr. Brown explained how things would be and the experience was not as bad as I though it would be. I feel very blessed to have him as my doctor.

Dr. Brown is an angel. He replaced Dr. Maholtra and the level of my care is so much better. Maybe because I am a former soldier and he is a former Army doctor is why I am partial, but seriously, he is straight-forward, honest, and kind. I look forward to seeing him every time I need treatment. That is saying a lot when it comes to visiting the cancer center! He is the best and he cares!
