Doc does an excellent job all around. I am one of those people that makes others laugh, have some fun, I enjoy life type person. He may or may not be like that but when he comes into my room he is. Lol The procedure is always a laugh. Especially when there's a full moon!!! Lol The way a doc explains things is a two way street. You need to listen and ask questions if you don't understand. Doc knows his area of expertise. You need to ask him questions. Tell him you're clueless if you have to. Tell him to say it in "dummy" terms. He needs to know your level of understanding. If all else fails use the model that sits in the room and point to it!! In the procedure room I didn't have anything for the pain for the test spot. He was very encouraging, especially when the monitor went off cause I was holding my breath. Lol He knew I was tough enough to get thru it *wink wink* I believe that with any doctor it's a two way street. You as the pt needs to be involved in the appointment just as much as them. They're not mind readers so if you're not telling them what you know and don't know, what you are understanding and what you're not. Then the lack of correct care is on you just as much as them, if not more. Dr Eacobar has even gone above and beyond for me. If he did it for me I know he dose it for his other pts cause I am no one special. Lol Office works are great and funny too. They mesh with the different types if people they comes across. One of them has even gone thru what I am and she told me what she has dealt with and gone thru. Which was very nice of her.

I would definitely recommend him as being the best Pain Management Dr out there. He listens to your concerns and doesn’t rush you out of the office. He continues to attempt different procedures until the best one works for you. Some procedures may work for some but not for others. He is very thorough and explains with each procedure on what he will do and how it should help. He cares for his patients. He is very trustworthy, there when you need him to fill out any paperwork that you need and get signed in a timely matter, always on top of EVERYTHING, including never having to wait long when you have an appointment or procedure. If I could give him 10 STARS I WOULD. If you are looking for a GREAT PAIN MANAGEMENT DR CHOOSE DR ALEX ESCOBAR. HE WILL TAKE CARE OF YOU AND YOU WILL NOT BE DISAPPOINTED!! I am so happy I was referred to him by Dr Wise who has retired. I trust him and know he is doing everything he can to help get me as comfortable and pain free as possible.

I saw Dr. Escobar a few months back for a consult. He talked me through the examination and possible treatments. He made sure I understood what was going on with my foot and how he planned to fix it or make it more bearable for me to live with it.

Dr Escobar is very nice and seems to want to help you with your pain. Unfortunately, to date, none of the things he has tried have helped much. I still have hope that he will continue to try additional treatment options with the hope of reducing my pain.

Got irritated when I wanted more detail of my condition and next steps. I asked a couple times, he rudely told me "I already told you that." He said he would only tell me the next step and we will find out the others later.
