I went to the ER approximately a week ago, for a neck injury . I was tested for the CV while there. Doctor Lam was wonderful, very warm and smart man . I thought -" even if you are in real need , though I wasnt - having the person waiting for you on the edge of that scary cliff , talk to you in a nice way , makes all the difference ..." There was a nurse who was Nurse Ratched with a dash of Delores claiborne , a mean spirited creature ; Karen Black, my god , i almost fled. Her treatment was as close to sick as i got while there .

Dr Lam saw me in the ER, with various seemingly simultaneous unrelated debilitating issues. He gave a preliminary diagnosis (to be confirmed later by a another doctor I was referred to), even though I was not especially open to believing the diagnosis. Not only was he right, and thus helped me get great treatment that radically improved my health, but he also relayed the information in an open, non judgmental, friendly, & compassionate manner. I could not recommend him enough

We are amazed that Dr. Lam discontinued use of antibiotics prescribed earlier by three physicians. Dr. Lam maintained and suspected (correctly) that the patient’s problem lay in overprescribing medications. After evaluating the patient through numerous X-rays and tests, he concluded that the patient simply had too many antibiotics. He spent time with the patient and convinced her that in two days she would feel much better. Indeed, she is feeling almost perfect.
