Dr. Alexander Prikhojan, MD

He lied to me about him not accepting my insurance n waited till Oct 2024 when I was told self pay got his bill I got a bill n I sent check the check is lost n charged me for deductible billing n didn’t advise me he was out of network only to find out he was cancelled by blue cross n blue shield n Cigna . When I called to discuss bill because his billing was a joke he lied he told me i told him my insurance n I know my insurance he took whoever he could to get paid . i wasn’t told till Oct when it was June of 2024 he was denied . Now he doesn’t live in tn per him N only does self pay . So I told him his time was up ha ha back at ya Dr. Beware he does not have a physical office now n doesn’t live in TN per him . He is weird …. Knows how to manipulate every situation . I don’t need a non caring Dr . I never trusted him n he wouldn’t listen to me if I did speak . He did enough to cover his a????? He is now PIF n good riddance.

He is a genius. The only doctor to get my mother's Dementia under control with the appropriate medications.

His intelligence!!

He failed to monitor my blood levels for lithium, caused acute kidney failure. Also, overcharged me for every single visit. Terminated me because insurance company requested reimbursement of monies owed to me. Lied repeatedly and would not give me or BCBS access to his billing dept. Total quack.

I have been seeing this doctor for seven years. He is the only doctor that was able to diagnose my rare disorder, and every time I cannot tolerate a new medication, he is very careful about figuring out if I will tolerate other ones. Incredibly smart, kind, thorough, and always very promptly returns my calls when I have concerns or questions. AMAZING DOCTOR.

Being his patient is the most horrible experience I've had with a Psychiatrist. He is rude and overbearing. He ask, "How have you been doing since your last visit?" When I would tell him, the answer would be, "There's nothing I can do?" Or he would shrug his shoulders. I confided in him, that I had been sexually abused as a child and he shrugged his shoulders. Once when he ask me how I was doing and I replied, "Very happy." He told me, "You do know you do have the option of being hospital."

Does not care about new patients and has no compassion for helping others.

Very considerate and takes all the time you need with him. Gives very precise details about the stages of your disease and how and why he is treating it the way he does

Dr. Prikhojan is an extremely knowledgeable and compassionate practitioner, with all aspects of his patients' care his foremost objective. Dr. Prikhojan takes time to understand any issues or concerns I may have and I trust him completely with my care. I have enthusiastically recommended Dr. Prikhojan to others and I will continue to do so. In my opinion, we need more health care providers like Dr. Prikhojan.

This doctor knew that I was allergic to a certain medicine, yet mistakenly prescribed the medicine and I need up having an allergic reaction to it because I made a mistake and took it. He failed to accept responsibility for his actions, and yet blamed the pharmacy. His billing department also wrote down my insurance wrong and never fixed that, making me responsible for over $300.00 out of pocket.
