Dr. Alexis Calloway, MD

Dr Calloway was recommended by my internal medicine doctor. Dr. Calloway was very thorough and professional during our initial consultation and after my procedure. I felt confident in her work and at ease with addressing any follow-up questions that I may have. I highly recommend her.

Had a terrible experience with Dr Calloway. In addition to the poor bedside manor, I was prescribed a very intense medication which made me sick during their recommended treatment. Dr Calloway persuaded me to move forward with the treatment despite this and after completion of the treatment I continued to testing positive for the illness and symptoms had only worsened. Despite this test being done in their office, it has been two months now and I have not been contacted by Dr Calloway or anyone at their office with any type of next steps. I reached out through the portal multiple times and been told to call if I have any questions. I have attempted to call but have been unable to reach anyone. I will move forward with another physician as necessary but want to leave this feedback to anyone who may be seeking care. The treatment I received from Dr Calloway worsened what I was originally seeking treatment for and has prolonged any progress I could have received from a better physician.

I found the doctor, very professional and compassionate in her discussion of the procedure. She was very informative and answered all of my questions. Definitely would recommend her.

Found gastro problem others did not. Required surgery and referred us to top surgeon.

This doctor still gives me nightmares. I was matched with her in the hospital after moving to GA. Personally, I felt like an ATM machine. I had major surgery bad I was really scared. My surgeon was great, but doctor Calloway told me how complicated I was as a medical condition and I wasn’t reassured by anything. She told me that she’d get me scheduled onto medication and because I disagreed with the kind of medication she proposed, she gave additional information to my insurance company after they approved part of the medication I wanted, to stop them approving additional injections. Her nurse, Tamika was dreadful. She told me that “I wasn’t the only patient”. I wasn’t allowed to follow up weekly about my insurance approval sitting in their inbox. However, they ran unnecessary testing on me and when they seen an option to get more money from me, they did. Do not recommend. Nothing is personal. You’re money. Only money. Thank god I found a new doctor that listens

Had a procedure done and my symptoms are worse now than before. I have left messages with the nurse/PA and have not recoeved a ny return calls.
