Good Doc
Efficient. I wanted to go home, but he convinced me to come in. I guess it turns out I had a “silent heart attack”. Great doc. Good demeanor.

Uniquely Gifted Physician
Never met a MD like this! I am a HIGH healthcare utilizer (cancer, transplant) and feel like I have met dozens of ER doctors in my life, tbh most of them competent but barely passable, but Dr. D was something else! Not only did he have a great sense of humor, he updated me multiple times over the course of my ER stay, DESPITE the fact that, I kid you not, they called his name on the overhead speaker at least 8-10 times for what sounded like really, really sick dying patients he was caring for. Yet he never made me feel like I was less of a priority. I really didn't want to get admitted, but he felt I needed to, so he worked the extra mile to reach out to my primary team to arrange next day followups and procedures (e.g. therapeutic paracentesis) so I could avoid a hospital stay. He truly, truly is the best, and I am grateful for his care and really hope I can get to meet him again soon.

Great doc
Waited forever in the waiting room... Once Dr. D saw me, he knew exactly what was going on, ordered the right tests, and got me out quick... I appreciated that he understood I wasn't wanting to get admitted and arranged follow up for me. This Doc LISTENS, so I appreciate him UNDERSTANDING my needs and still getting me the follow up I needed.

One of the most humane and conscientious doctor
Telehealth
This doctor takes the time to listen to you and makes sure that you understand what is going on with your body. He is empathetic so you don’t have the impression to be a number. Gave the right diagnostic and treatment was back on my feet in no time. Would need more doctors like him. Thank you so much and will recommend with out a doubt.

Long way to go to earn the title of MD
Dr Del Vecchio has a long way to go as far as learning how to detect true emergency situations. My husband was admitted to the ER after having a seizure. I knew my husband was unwell due to all of the symptoms he had for weeks beforehand. They gave him fluids and monitored him for 3 hours total and then sent him on his way despite my plead for them to do more. That night he suffered another massive seizure and was admitted to the ICU at a different hospital. This could have been prevented if Del Vecchio did not discharge my husband with critically high levels of toxins in his body which the blood work proves. He gets a 10/10 for bedside manner and he was very cool calm and collected. I do not think he belongs in the emergency room. Maybe a family doctor not treating critical patients would be good for him. Time for another residency program Del Vecchio. You have a long way to go to deserve the title of MD.

Outstanding ER Doc
My mother came in with chest pain. Within minutes, Dr. del Vecchio diagnosed her with a heart attack, provided all the necessary treatments, and she was off to the cath lab. But what really stood out is that he pulled up a chair, spoke to her with kindness and empathy, held her hand, and included the rest of us in the conversation too. I am grateful for his care, and he is truly a special doctor. Thank you Dr. del Vecchio!!
