Exceptional Gastroenterologist
Dr. Pappas is exceptional. She reviews your history, listens attentively to your concerns and gives suggestions to possible resolutions. She moved to Sturdy Memorial after being at a disfunctional Morton Hospital. She is friendly and gets results.

Unhappy
Was supposed to have a colonoscopy in February. Called the office in mid -December and left a message to call me back. Never did. I got stubborn, and my doctor sent a referral to her in March, no call back. The doctor insisted that I call again, which I did, and I actually got a live person. I got a date, and when the paperwork came, there were instructions for a one-day prep, which I followed to the tee. When I went in for the colonoscopy, the staff were great. When Dr. Pappas came in, she asked if I did the two-day prep, I said no because I was sent the one-day prep. She had to abort the procedure because there was stool in the in the bowel. I never saw her again. The nurse gave me the report, I will add that previously she couldn't complete the procedure and should have noted that in my chart. Therefore, when I made the appointment, it should have been evident to send out 2 days prep instructions. Now, she wants me to have it again in 3 months. What a waste of time.

Considering she was ok
Recommended by my promary, Dr Pappas was ok. Spent all of 12 seconds with me which was fine- she was short, sweet, and to the point. Id go back if need be.

I met Dr Pappas while I was a patient at Morton hosp. She was professional, polite and took the time to explain my problems with my liver, gallbladder and kidney’s. After my release from Morton hosp. I made a follow-up appointment with her through her staff. Her staff (Kaitlyn) was extremely nice and offered me various dates and times for my appointment. At my appointment Dr. Pappas was polite, took the time to go through and explain my blood work results and what each reading meant. I have had approximately 10 meetings with her and each time from her staff to the end of the appointment is the same as the first time Dr. Pappas saw me at Morton hosp. I give Dr. Pappas A++++

My experience with Dr. Pappas was awful!!! I will not be returning to her .After procedures are preformed were done at St.Luke's Hospital she never came to talk to me. I have had other doctors who have performed same procedures and came to talk to you , not her. I will also inform the hospital. Don't like her at all.

Dr. Pappas is great. However, office staff and billing dept are terrible. We are out hundreds of dollars for something that should have been covered.
