Sharing my experience with Dr. Stephens so others are aware of what to REALLY expect when seeing her. I went to her for a unknown mark that was on my face. This mark had been there for about a year. Dr. Stephens comes in the room and stays for not even 5 minutes before she disappears and heads to the next patient. Within that 5 minutes of her being in the room she tells me I have a condition called granuloma annulare, I was confused because she didn't ask me any questions, she didn't look at the pictures I brought to show her NOTHING....she simply looked at my face for a few seconds and "diagnosed" me. She then prescribed me two creams and directed me to start taking them ASAP. Fast forward a little...those creams did NOTHING for me besides make my face discolored and worse that what it had originally been. I went back for one follow up with Dr. Stephens and she didn't have much to say besides to keep using the creams as instructed. I decided to cancel all following appointments with Dr. Stephens. In total I spent $335 with her for NOTHING. I finally decided to research Board Certified Dermatologist and found an amazing Dr. As soon as I stepped foot in his office he thoroughly examined my face and other parts of my body making sure the marks weren't anywhere else. He then told me he thinks I have skin lupus and immediately did a biopsy on me. He was shocked that my previous Dr. didn't think to do a biopsy on me or any blood work. Within less than two days my biopsy results came back and My Dr. Called me with the news, he was extremely informative and prescribed me with the correct treatment for my skin. It's only been two weeks and I see a tremendous difference in my skin. My new Dr. also did blood work on me to make sure everything was okay with me internally. Please do your research before choosing a Dr. and if something doesn't feel right the first time it's okay to not go back. Hopefully this review helps others.

I found her off YouTube (make sure to subscribe & like). I am uber happy that she is someone accessible. She was professional and heard me out with all my skin issues. Even from her videos she seems sweet and I'm glad I was able to experience that. Plus representation played a major part. I was fan-girling over her . She's a black Barbie. Thanks Youtube, my insurance, and Parkland dermatology. I'm looking forward to having clear skin.

I would first like to thank Dr.Stephens for allowing me to take this treatment and her crew for their support throughout the process and family environment they've created at Parkland Dermatology. At first I was insecure about the way I looked due to the acne but thanks to the treatment I've gained my confidence once again.

I am so pleased with my experience with Dr. Stephens and her office staff. Dr. Stephens cured a skin condition that I had been treated for incorrectly by at least 4 different physicians. This office treats patients very professionally and I would recommend if anyone needs the help of a dermatologist to go visit Dr. Stephens.

I recently moved here from NY where I swore by my dermatologist. I vetted thousands of reviews and testimonials to find Dr. Stephens. She's incredibly gentle, knowledgeable, thorough and an effective communicator. Take it from me, your in good hands with Dr. Stephens.

Dr Stephens and her team are an A+. I developed skin rash that appeared to be spreading over my body like chicken pox. In my mind it was an incurable crisis but she compassionately explained the minor nature of my issue compared to what I had created in my mind and walked me back from the edge of the cliff. I am truly grateful for her exceptional bedside manner. She explained all my options including "do nothing" and that my body would, with time, heal itself. I opted for the a more aggressive approach which involved several trips to her office and the ultimate "you are all better!" I still need occasional visits for follow up to make sure I do not regress but the entire staff is so friendly and accommodating that I do not dread my next visit, in fact, I look forward to it. I can not say better things or recommend Dr Stephens and her team more highly. I can only expect you will have the same experience.

This office is absolutely amazing! The place is extremely clean and modern. The staff was very friendly and welcoming. Dr. Stephens made me feel like I was her only patient for the day. She explained things to me in "layman' terms". This was my first time doing fillers and some laser treatments, I was quite nervous. She made me very comfortable and extremely happy with the results. My wrinkles vanished instantaneously! By far the best Dermatologist i've seen. HIGHLY recommends her. #happypatient.

IN MY OPINION-UNPROFESSIONAL, UNCARING AND UNTRAINED STAFF Extremely IMCOMPETENT-I have never been to an office before with a staff of about ten to see such a state of incompetence. First impressions should have told me to walk out but the beautiful decor of the office lured me to stay. When I walked in I thought there must be at least 3 doctors in the practice because there was a staff of about ten lingering at the front desk eating and chatting. I felt rude to interrupt . The receptionist ( Kim) had a full mouth of food when I walked in (and might I add not very welcoming either.) I was given the incorrect information on cost of services even though I asked. ( every person in this office will give you a different answer) Then I had to pay more when I left because of their mistakes. I was also given a biopsy that was not EXPLAINED to me before hand- and had no idea she took a huge chunk out of my forehead. I was not even given a instruction sheet for at home care by the doctor or
