I've just started seeing Dr. Wiesenthal as my internist. I have not yet had a face to face meeting with her, but my telehealth interactions with her have been excellent. She is an excellent diagnostician and caregiver. She's knowledgeable and thoughtful, and she takes her time. During a recent illness, she diagnosed me quickly and got a prescription to me right away. That level of responsiveness and care is rare today, and I feel lucky to have found it.

Dr. Alexis Wiesenthal has been my primary care doctor since 2009. I recommend her to my family, friends, coworkers, and people from my church and I know I can trust they will receive the best care with her. She is extremely bright and a great listener and diagnostician. I really like how she is offering telehealth right now as I am undergoing chemo treatments and can see her from wherever I am, whether we have our visit from my home or while I’m getting my infusion. She has saved my life multiple times and I am grateful to have her as my doctor.

I’ve been a patient of Dr. Weisenthal’s for about 2 years and have not been happy. She over refers you to other doctors instead of trying to find root causes, which is very costly. Last year I had a stomach issue and she referred me to a gastro using scare tactics such as mentioning that it could be cancer among other serious terminal illnesses. I was so scared I got a endoscopy and colonoscopy and of course, nothing was found. Now I’m paying over $5000 in medical bills for a procedure that was unnecessary. I’m also disappointed in her because I have called her office 3 times to get an appointment for a routine check-up and 3 weeks later, still haven’t heard back. I’ve changed my PCP to someone else just recently and am kicking myself for not doing it sooner.

She was thorough but did not have a warm bed-side manner, nor did I feel she was the most approachable. Later when I left a question for her and expected a response I have yet to hear back in over a week and a half. Not wonderful or timely communication. Her receptionist is friendly.

At first at I’ve had to wait for a month and a half to see for the first time Dr. Wiesenthal, we were changing doctor from another bad experience with someone else,I thought when I arrived to her practice, Dr. Wiesenthal and saw award for “most compassionate” This is it!! I found her, I found the right Doctor but unfortunately not. First time she run some tests as a general routine, the second time we went we waited long time in the room more like 45 minutes,( we got there on time for our appointment )and she showed up for just 15 minutes total, our appointment was at the same time for me and my husband, (as per our request), but in 15 minutes, just 15 minutes for two people with different questions and health concerns???, ( not enough time for either of us) she left us with the assistant for further questions. That same day I did a follow up tests results consult visit to not to waste time TRYING TO GET A HOLD OF SOMEBODY ON THE PHONE FOR MY NEXT VISIT, to my surprise the tests res

My experience with Dr Weisenthal has been great. She is thorough and professional. I feel like my good health is truly important to her- not a feeling I necessarily get with many doctors. I'm so glad she was recommended to me.

Unfortunately had a bad experience with just trying to see her for the first time as a new patient. She has a 100 dollar fee for new patient changing appointment within 24 hrs, a policy which her staff fails to inform you off after multiple phone calls and only tells you about it when you try to reschedule the appointment. This is not a proper way to treat new patients, they should be told of the fee upfront when they call the first time to schedule an appointment.

Dr. Wiesenthal became my PCP when she first opened her practice. Eight years on, I received a letter of termination. Medicare patients were history. So, if you have Medicare, regardless of your secondary coverage, look elsewhere. I blame the growing laborious documentation requirements from Medicare, not Dr. W. It's a trend! Doctors running small offices simply can't manage such. Sad! If your plan is accepted, you can't go wrong with Dr. W. She's beyond excellent & truly missed.

i like being able to see my doctor and not a PA. When my spouse was ill, I had an appt with her and called to see if she could see him instead. She saw both of us! He was admitted to the hospital.

My daughter and I were patients of Dr. Wiesenthal's until we had to cancel an appointment in less than 24 hrs. I paid the cancellation fee of $40. When I tired to schedule an appointment I was told she didn't have anything available soon and the only hours were from 8:-1::30. Come to find out my daughter was dropped as a patient due less than 24 hr timeframe. I was told the new patent forms disclosed this information, these were signed 2 years ago and nothing is listed on portal stating this.

Dr. Wiesenthal has been my primary care doctor for several years and all I can say is that she is the very best. She is very observant, listens carefully, and watches my lab results carefully. Over the years she has also referred me to several specialists who were equally great. If you need a primary care doctor, you will not go wrong with Dr. Wiesenthal.

She has been my primary care physician for over 5 years and following her advice and recommendations to a healthy life has improved my life tremendously. An excellant listener that takes action on my health concerns immediately. She answers my health questions in terms I can grasp and always seeks my buy in on any care or procedure. My appointments have always been met within 15 mins. Of scheduling. A preventive care specialist !
