Dr. Ali Alavi, MD

Dr. Alavi answers questions. He discusses options. He really knows what he is doing. He is a great doctor. I have been totally satisfied since 2012. I am not writing about one appointment. I am writing about 12 years of appointments.

Dr. Alavi, is great. I went to him post operation, after another Dr, didn’t seem y care. Dr Alavi got me on the right meds and helped me tremendously.

setting an appointment by calling the number provided is useless

Dr. Alavi has been treating my father. On our second appointment there were 4 other patients in the waiting room who had appointments with Dr. Alavi for the same time. On our third appointment, we waited 40 minutes in the exam room and had a 10 minute visit. I have found Dr. Alavi to be the type of person that likes to tell and he does not like to be challenged. There are so many choices for a Urologists. Please do not use Dr. Alavi.

I went to Dr. Alavi for one issue I was having and from his examination and treatment he identified 2 other conditions I was unaware. (And other physicians did not recognize). I was super happy with his treatment, bedside manner, and expertise. He corrected all conditions through surgery and I very happy to say I am very satisfied with him, his office, and surgical team. I would highly recommend him and his office. Thanks again

He treated me on an emergency basis. His skills and expertise were critical in saving my life ,as well as not needing to cut off critical parts.

The office called me yesterday to confirm a 1pm appointment, which I repeated back to them as I entered the appointment into my calendar. Today, they decided it was at 1:40 the whole time. Then they proceeded to make my dad wait for 2 hours. The doctor finally graced us with his presence for 4 minutes, after wandering up and down the hallway aimlessly. He spent that time telling us that 1, we would wait that long every time we come to his office, 2, my father has the prostate of a 90 year old man, 3, that he should be grateful to be going to him and that he's the only one that would have gotten his catheter removed(he prescribed him drugs, not sure that requires a genius doctor, more like smart drug developers), and 4, he would need to be on those very expensive drugs for the rest of his life. Which brings me to my last complaint. That he would prescribe an expensive drug for a man for the rest of his life, when there is a well-known, and very effective means of reducing the prostate.

I was hospitalized for a kidney stone. Dr. Alavi prevented surgery by encouraging me to walk/start passing stones! He truly cared and only wanted surgery as a last resort! He didn't want to expose me to an unnecessary follow-up CT to see if the stone had passed. This dr is a rare, genuine find!!!

He took his time to explain in detail my condition and my options. He is truly caring and does not do any unnecessary tests. Highly recommend him.

Excellent doctor, very knowledgeable

I attended my wife's Friday appointment and mentioned that a month ago I had blood in my urine The Dr that I needed to be promptly examined and made time for me the following Monday. At that appointment he painlessly examined my bladder and thankfully found no cancer. He prescribed a Ct and personally fought with the scheduler to get moved up. Fortunately again the Ct showed no cancer and he attributed the bleeding to my blood thinner The Dr always gave me a thorough discussion

I would recommend Dr. Ali, he is a great doctor and surgeon.

Dr. Ali Alavi – Fullerton Urology, Fullerton CA I was refereed to Dr. Alavi by my primary care physician when my PSA numbers were suspiciously high. Upon my initial visit with Dr. Alavi he recommended performing a Prostate Biopsy in order to determine if the cause of my elevated numbers was cancer. Seems to always be in a big hurry. Not very friendly. Has not helped me.

Excellent office with plenty of parking which has been hard to find in the area. (Busy medical area) Dr. Alavi was a really nice and down to earth doctor. Office staff were friendly and work hard to maintain a busy office.

Very disappointing. Arrived early to complete paperwork, waited 1 hour to see the doctor. Doctor says we will test you for cancer and will call you. That was October 6, 2016, no call from the doctors office. I called three times asking for test results. to is November 21,2016 still don't know the test results.

Months ago I went to see Dr. Alavi in Marinelli & Feldman office. His young nurse is HORRIBLE, she lacks compassion. She is arrogant, rude, she did everything possible to try and humiliation and embarrass me. She disclosed confidential medical information about my illness and treatment within hearing range of other staff members and patients. Apparently she thinks something is humorous and degrading about patients medical procedures and tests. She has no regard for a patients dignity or priva

I highly recommend Dr. Alavi. He has wonderful bedside manors. He is very gentle, informative, and assuring. I had a great experience. No side affects and quick healing.

I always look at reviews, experience, and education prior seeing a doctor. I noticed that Dr. Alavi has high score on all of them! I was referred to Dr. Alavi by a friend of mine who has been very happy. I am very glad that I made an apartment with Dr. Alavi. He knows his area well. He is very honest and caring.
