Dr. Ali Delbakhsh, MD

I have been a nurse for 40 years. This is one of the best experiences I have had with a doctor. My husband has a complicated medical history. The first time we saw this MD he came in to the room introduced himself and immediately reviewed his past medical history. He had obviously read his entire history and knew all his diagnosis the treatment he has received and the medications he was receiving. He ordered many necessary tests and changed some of his medications. He educated us on how to take the meds info I had never heard from anyone else. If I could leave 10 stars I would. I highly recommend this cardiologist. He is very thorough and highly knowledgeable. Yes he will recommend a vegan diet but that is his job to tell you how to live your best life.

Dr. D was thorough in his exam and his explanations. Only complaint was I didn't get any summary when I left the office.

I went to Dr. Delbakash for tests and instead got a lecture on being a vegan. After the tests I had to ask him for the results instead of another lecture on veganism. And, he told me that my enlarged aorta would be fixed by being a vegan! I don’t think that’s proper medical practice and could not recommend him.

Moved to Palm Springs two weeks before covid hit which we all know the wrench that threw into everything, including doctor visits. My 83 year old partner has heart issues but going on three years this was the first time we had a face to face visit with a cardiologist. Prior have had only video appointments with nurse practitioners [which I'm not putting down, they did their job]. Dr. Delbakhsh took over as our cardiologist just recently and we had our first visit this week. I was happily impressed with the amount of background knowledge Dr. Delbakhsh had on my partner. He literally knew his full medical history proving he took the time to scrutinize his new patient. Up to now I have pretty much had to fill in every doctor we have visited with medical info and background. Dr. Delbakhsh was warm, attentive, patient and thorough. My partner has voice issues so the doctor allowed me to talk and discuss my personal thoughts and observations and never once cut me off or acted like "HE was th

Dr. Delbakhsh treated me and my father like animals NOT humans. He was almost yelling at me when I went with my father to his appointment just because I asked him to explain why he was making changes in my father's meds. Delbakhsh had zero respect for me, first, as a human, and, second as a woman. Not professional at all. When he started to yell at me, he said, "you are insulting me as a physician because you are asking why." Then he said, "I am not taking care of your father anymore". Zero star

We bestow Dr Delbakhsh 5 stars. Thorough knowledgeable patient and bearer of the key to cardiovascular health: veganism. In today's world of corporate meat production clogging human arteries and raising co2 and methane levels contributing to climate change and human pain and suffering as well as animal cruelty, Dr. Delbakhsh whisks aside the wizards curtain to reveal a plant protien diet as a solution to our physical, environmental, and spiritual well being. My sister in law visited Dr Delbakhsh for the first time and received outstanding care and attention from him. I was there to assist her so I saw how the doctor took his time with her, listened to her, explained things clearly and clearly cared about her well-being. We were very impressed and reassured by this doctor, who actually treats you as if you were family and not strangers.
