Dr. Ali Hazama, MD

I went to see Dr. Hazama because of a failed fusion in 2012 and had numerous broken screws. I was afraid of any surgery understandably. I also had a bad neck so I allowed Dr H. to fix my neck in Oct,2023 and then in June 2024 he started my 8 hr. surgery on my back. I had to get this done I couldn't walk. My God, he had to FIX all the hardware in my broken back and replace and build up my spine, are you kidding me!Well,l I NEEDED it done . Thank you Dr. Hazama and your team of dedicated doctors because I am by God's grace FIXED. My neck is fixed, and I am no longer hunched over. I stand tall with NO pain. He takes such precaution during surgery and his team is On Spot. One week after surgery I was walking for exercise without my walker. I used a walker for all those bad years. I am grateful to Upstate Spine and brain for having a very talented neurosurgeon who has an excellent team around him He saved my life in so many ways. I hope he can for you.

His behavior is inappropriate. He didn't look at I'm imaging, as he said, my pa is a trusted source, he simply behaved poorly. I have filled a complaint. Not reviewing images and going on the word of the pa is egregious

Dr Hazama preformed life threatening brain surgery on my son. He and his Nero super team saved my boys life and gave us a future. He's the best. There is no way I would let anyone else preform surgery on my son and he did 7 brain surgeries and a total of 11 surgeries on my son. I am in debt to him for saving my boys life. Dr Hazama is a hero.
