My experience with this doctor was very bad. He was very rude and not professional. He was in a rush during the appointment. He could not explain things well to patients at all. He could not address my concerns. He totally made me feel disappointed.

Robotic prostatectomy for cancer about 20 years ago. No urinary issues. ED issues solved with daily cialis. Should have posted years ago but thanks for 20 years of a great life and still going strong.

Excellent Urologist and Skilled Surgeon
I am a 66-year-old male, and I scheduled an appointment with Colorado Urology for prostate problems and saw Dr. Ali Sarram. Past treatments for BPH had become ineffective and Dr. Sarram recommended the new AquaBlation procedure. I have learned that Dr. Sarram is one of very few specialists in the Denver area that performs this procedure. Dr. Sammar performed the AquaBlation at Sky Ridge Hospital on a Wednesday afternoon. I stayed overnight in the hospital, was discharged home the next day, and the catheter was removed the day after that. After only 4 days, I am pain-free, able to use the bathroom like a much younger man, and I don’t use the bathroom as frequently as I used to. I still have a few more weeks until I am “completely healed,” but I already feel fantastic. Dr. Sarram is supported by an extremely skilled team of Physician Assistants, and friendly/caring team members. I recommend Dr. Sarram to any man needing prostate solutions.

WARNING! I am writing this in hopes of saving anyone with a spinal cord injury from placing your life in danger by seeing Dr. Ali M. Sarram. After explaining my disability, he immediately began with; this is a tough one. I asked if he or anyone in Colorado Urology could handle reoccurring UTI, and he replied No. I wondered if he or anyone in Colorado Urology could help maintain a neurogenic bladder, and his reply again was No. I asked if he or anyone in Colorado Urology could handle my issue of cathing when my suprapubic folly is clogged, and I need to stop my blood pressure from spiking due to autonomic dysreflexia, and surprise, he answered No. However, guess what he did refer me? He told me to return to a previous doctor Ty Higuchi who wished to remove my bladder and bowels. Please, if you have a disability or spinal cord injury, don't go to these people. I need you to understand that removing vital organs because they tell you it will improve your quality of life is A LIE!

I have been with Dr. Sarram for 13yrs. He removed my kidney and treated me for my bladder cancer. He is the best in his field. He makes you feel relaxed and listens to your concerns. My husband has been seeing him for his prostate for years and has it under control. We both trust him with our lives. He is the best!

Dr. Sarram is outstanding both as a doctor and as a person. His treatment of me throughout my surgery and healing process has been tremendous. It is no wonder that the staff he works with are all top of the line people. Along with Dr. Sarram, they all take great pride in the care of each patient, whether they may be a nurse, part of the appointment staff, or another urologist.

Dr. Sarram provided the ultimate solution to my prostate challenges. His colleague had helped me for two years appropriately applying less invasive approaches to resolve my enlarged prostate. At the point when it was determined these were not completely effective she referred me to her colleague, Dr. Sarram. His expertise in robotic laparoscopic surgery was the solution. Checked in for surgery on a Monday mid-morning for surgery about noon and was discharged on Tuesday late afternoon. Even with the six entry portals the entire process was very efficient and with no post-op pain for me. Went for a walk the next day (Wed). Overall this procedure was markedly smoother for me and the recovery much faster than the TURP ("roto rooter") procedure that I underwent 20 years earlier to open a path through my then enlarged prostate. I am pleased to give my highest recommendation for Dr. Sarram.

My experience with Dr Sarram has been outstanding. He is a talented physician. Recently did a urolift procedure on me. It has worked well. Every contact I have had with him and his staff have been timely, professional and caring. Although it is a five hour drive, each way, I would not consider seeing any one other than him for the work he does

Dr. Sarram gave me back my dignity. i had suffered, for 20 years, with other doctors with a very enlarged prostate and related issues. Dr. Sarram performed a robotic surgery. He is a very good doctor and more importantly a very kind, caring, concerned doctor who really cares about his patients.

This is the worst urologist I've ever had the displeasure of seeing. I had to go to Dr. May, an excellent urologist, to fix what he screwed up.

Dr Sarram has a terrible bedside manor. He doesn't like to be asked questions and is in a hurry to get you out the door. He was on call when my father was in the hospital with a serious UT infection and prescribed medicine similar to another Dad was taking which resulted blood pressure drop and an ER visit. Scheduling visits is terrible with wait times up to 4-6 weeks for an established patient. The only reason my parents are continuing to see him is because of the close location.

This is a wonderful office and practice. Maggie who does the scheduling is caring and so responsive. I called other urologists and was treated like a number. This office is completely different. I've seen Dr Sarram work with other patients and was also extremely caring and thorough. A doctor and office that truly cares about their patients as real individuals is a rarity. I would highly recommend this office - at any of their locations.
