Dr. Ali Shirzadi, MD

Dr. Shirzadi took the time to thoroughly review my case and settled my concerns. His staff both front and back office staff were easy to talk with and were always pleasant and helpful!

My autistic 63 brother has neurological damage to his spinal cord and Dr Shirzadi was such a good listener and took the time to work us in and go the extra mile to call about his lab test .

I fell on a Sunday afternoon and my family took me to a local ER. They sewed me up and did X-rays. The ER Dr told me that I needed to go to Murfreesboro hospital due to having a C2 broken vertebrae in my neck. Now I was dreading going out of town to a place that I didn't know much about any of the Drs. I arrived via ambulance to the hospital and taken thru the ER and to my room. I may have been there 10 mins and two Drs came in and explained that they would be doing more test tomorrow. Dr. Shirzadi and I believe the other Dr was Nucome. Very nice both of them. Did my testing. He came back and explained everything to me and told me no surgery for me. The best words I could have heard. I went back in two weeks redid X-rays and said let's see how we do now without the neck brace.Best news I could hear. Went back again and had more test and was very pleased. Needless to say not having the neck brace on was a another experience for me. His staff is great and his nurse were the best.

The reception staff was very efficient. The waiting area was very clean. Dr Shirzadi was attentive and engaged.

Dr Shirzadi's diagnosis and treatment proved to be completely correct. He performed surgery on my back and, with no exaggeration, changed my life for the better. The pain prior to his treatment was almost unbearable. After treatment the old pain is gone. I feel as though I have my life back, and for that I will be eternally grateful.

Dr. Shirzadi and his staff are very polite and friendly. He took his time to explain my diagnosis and he answered my questions to my satisfaction. Dr. Shirzadi is very professional and I would recommend him to anyone who asks me if I know a good neurosurgeon.

Dr. Shirzadi came into my room and said 'You have two choices, surgery or being paralyzed'. I had surgery the next day. I went home followed his orders and am walking today. His compassion was as great as his surgery skill.

New to office front desk was cordial Nurse Practitioner Nicola was so helpful.!Dr. Shirzadi was extremely thorough and detailed in his review of the procedure he will be doing! He put me at ease and lowered my anxiety level!

My husband recently had surgery performed by Dr. Shirzadi. We knew from the time we went to his office the first time, that he was a caring, knowledgeable physician. He gave us all options for care from not doing anything to what he felt was the best procedure to resolve my husband's symptoms. We had a small issue when it came to getting pre-auth from insurance and his office staff stayed far beyond working hours to ensure this was taken care of. The surgery resolved most of my husband's symptoms immediately and the remaining are improving day by day. As a Retired RN, I definitely research any provider we use and we are both more than happy with Dr. Shirzadi.

I have had 3-surgeries performed by Dr. Shirzadi, and I cannot say enough about his competence, and his compassion. He is patient, thorough in his explanations, he listens to you, he returns calls promptly, and you never feel like a "number" he truly cares about his patients, and it is evident the moment you meet him. His office staff, and medical assistant are also exceptional. Always helpful, and go out of their way for you. You are in excellent hands with this doctor, and his staff!
