Consider this your warning to stay away
Unsympathetic, uncaring, very jaded and has no bedside manner. Most horrible experience my husband or I have ever had with a DR to date. Refused to listen to any of my concerns. Huge ego problem. It’s her way or nothing at all. Horrible and bitter doctor. Makes you wonder why she went into this profession. From reading the below comments, I now know why she moved here all of the way from Georgia - most of her former patients had equally horrible experiences. Not only wont I ever go back but I’ll never go back to the office who brought her into their practice. It shows they lack good judgment.

Arrogant doctor.
My recent experience with this doctor, left me deeply disillusioned and disheartened. From the moment I stepped into her office, it was apparent that she exuded an air of superiority that bordered on contempt for her patients.Dr. Azzalin arrogance overshadowed any semblance of professionalism or empathy. Instead of approaching our interaction with compassion and understanding, she spoke to me in a condescending tone, as if I were incapable of comprehending the most basic aspects of my own health.Throughout the consultation, her communication style was patronizing and dismissive. She not only failed to listen to my concerns but also belittled them, as if they were inconsequential. Any attempts to ask questions or seek clarification were met with disdain, leaving me feeling invalidated and demeaned. As a healthcare provider, she has a duty to treat patients with dignity and respect. I was not impressed with her knowledge. Would not recommend.

I've been diabetic since 1988 and in all these years I've seen a fair number of different Endocrinologists. Whether I wasn't happy with a specific doctor or due to moving to another town. I can say in all honesty, I've never met a doctor quite like Dr. Azzalin! She was very attentive, extremely thorough and never felt rushed. She took her time explaining all my options with regard the newest medications and medical devices available. I can't remember a time, any doctor spending that much time caring for a patient on a simple office visit. I can not recommend her highly enough!

Dr Azzalin has been my Dr since 2016. She is managing my Graves’ disease. She gives detailed explanations about my condition and test results. She answers all of my questions concerning my treatment. When asked, she gives me her opinion on alternative treatments that I have researched. I never feel rushed. I feel like she cares about my wellbeing. Like others have mentioned, I gained a lot of weight after the radioactive iodine, and I was tired all the time. I would have preferred a different course of action but I trusted her. We have found the correct dosing for me and my energy levels are improving and I’m starting to loose weight. She is a very good dr.

Bad doctor. Unprofessional – Sep 10, 2019
×Post a ResponseAre you Dr. Azzalin?
I was diagnosed with Grave's Disease by Dr. Azzalin when I was 20 years old, this was the first time I had to take any regular medication and I slipped a few times-- she yelled at me for doing so. Eventually she recommended radioactive iodine to destroy my thyroid, saying it would be a lot easier to control my condition this way. I trusted her and went through with the treatment and I still haven't balanced out my hormones 3 years later, I've gained about 50-60 pounds, and I am tired all the time. I wish she had taken more time to explain that this might happen-- I was only 20 years old, and now I can't go back on this decision. I will always wonder if this was the best decision for my health.

My aunt is 85 year old and is Paralyzed from the waist down and has to be transported by ambulance. This doctor is so unaccommodating rude and condescending. She shouldn’t be in the Medical field. Do not use this doctor

Dr. Azzalin has been treating me for Grave disease for the past year. She is very thorough in her treatment and has explained all issues and side effects to my satisfaction. She is patient but is honest. She has told me this may not be what you want to hear but this is what may happen and can happen. She is a great doctor and I would recommend her to anyone.

×Post a ResponseAre you Dr. Azzalin?
Dr Azzalin was very rude and downright hurtful with her comments at our first appointment. She seemed to be out to prove me wrong about my thyroid condition and put me through weeks of feeling horrible! She is a closed minded, conventional Endocrinologist, and only treats by the numbers and does not care how you feel! After seeing her, I gained 20 pounds, blood pressure is high, heart rate crazy, anxiety, depression and unable to function normally. Her last comment to me: "hope you feel better"

I was very impressed by the amount of time Dr. Azzalin spent talking to be both on my initial visit and the follow-up. He examination and review of the records I brought were very thorough, she explained the situation in ways that I could easily understand and she answered every question I posed.

Dr. Alice Azzalin is now located at Diabetes and Endocrinology Associates in Conyers, Georgia. I have seen her twice as I had moved and needed a new endcrinologist and was referred to her to continued care for my thyroid issues. Compared to my previous doctor I had seen for over 5 years. Dr. Azzalin was very poor she did not take the time to explain anything. I had even requested my past records to be sent to her office for her to compare and review and by the second she did not review.
