Unprofessional and Dismissive Care Experience with
A few years ago, I had a very frustrating experience with Dr. Alicia Buchwalter. I had been prescribed an important medication by my highly respected neurosurgeon, but when I went to see Dr. Buchwalter, she refused to continue the prescription without providing a clear explanation. Despite having one of the top neurosurgeons in the area managing my care, she insisted that I see her own recommended doctors instead. This felt dismissive of my treatment plan, as though she was more interested in referring me to her colleagues than ensuring my health. Her lack of professionalism and support during a critical time left me very disappointed. I cannot recommend her for anyone seeking reliable and patient-focused care.

I love Dr. Buchwalter! She's my doctor at OneMedical. She's great. She doesn't rush through her appointments, she's thorough and has great bedside manner, as well as being very knowledgeable. She's very attentive of her patients' needs and concerns and addresses them in an easy to understand and caring way. Unfortunately, OneMedical doesn't take CareFirst anymore so I will most likely have to find a new doctor. Anyone would be lucky to have her as their primary care physician.

I recently saw Dr. Bushwalter at One Medical. WOW! She is a rare find. Not only is she extremely competent in medical knowledge, she has a skill many physicians lack. She actually listens to her patients! She leaves no stone unturned in making a diagnosis. No unnecessary tests are ordered but necessary ones are. What a change. I have found "my physician" and wouldn't consider seeing anyone else!
