She is very kind hearted, she seems to always listen. Well, I like it that she never seems to be in a hurry, she has done several injections over the last eight years, and I have been very pleased with the outcome.

RUN Don't WALK...I was referred to this office by an orthopedic surgeon who obviously did not know their business practices. As a 'self pay', cash patient, (out of network provider) not only was I paying large 'up front' fees before I even saw a doctor or had an exam, they then 'milked' my insurance for any remaining funds. The worst? I am hiring an attorney: just opened a bill for services that were paid for ONE YEAR AGO- for nearly 900 dollars, an outrage!! I am also contacting the State of Kansas Insurance Commissioners office- fraud! CROOKS and worthless exam- AVOID! Beware!!

We have recommended her to friends who have also been extremely pleased and grateful for her insight and care. She has moved her practice since we have seen her and we will seek her out again.

I’m so glad she is leaving the practice in leawood. Horrrible communication and bed side manner and basically just a rude person who makes you feel stupid when you ask questions. All this after waiting 45 minutes and no apology was given.

Dr. Hillman was a great doctor for me. She took the time to listen to my concerns up front, to hear about my medical history, and ordered the right tests and scans to confirm her initial diagnosis. She did two epidural injections on me and was clear in her instructions and what my expectations of the results would be. She referred me to the appropriate neurosurgeon for additional consultation. She was, in my experience, as close to ideal as a doctor can be. Highly recommend.

My experience with Dr. Hillman was fantastic. She was very clear and concise and on multiple occasions she acknowledged that it was a lot of information to take in and offered me an opportunity to ask any questions. I found Dr. Hillman to be extremely professional and I would recommend her to anyone. Not to mention how pleasant and efficient the office is.

I felt like this doctor had three minutes to spend with me, and couldn't wait to get my appointment over with. Zero empathy or concern for this patient. I wish I had checked health grades before I wasted my co-pay on this unsatisfactory experience. Please, go elsewhere if you want a better outcome; don't throw away your time or money here. This doctor should find another profession where she doesn't have to deal with people.

Seemed very caring but did not agree with my rare disorder. There seemed to be a misunderstanding and I felt my opinion and plan to get an ok from my neurosurgeon before injections was not supported. I chose to be my advocate and seek a new Dr do a better relationship. Could be a misunderstanding but support is what patients deserve.

I was referred by my primary care doctor. I discovered I have a very serious condition that could be life threatening. When I called back to get another set of scans for comparison, I was told that I had been released and they could no longer help me. However, the hospital told me that she needed to order the scans. Got NO help from her assistant and was basically told to go away. I've never had 2 doctors fight over who is NOT going to help and pass the buck to the other person.

Made 2 separate appointments and she cancelled both. The 2nd time was 10 minutes after the scheduled appointment time. She stated it was just and inconvenience and that I was unlucky. When she called the front desk staff they stated to each other she is not going to do this to us again, is she? In her written explanation about the cancellations she came across as I am the doctor and my time is more important than yours.

After paying my co-pay, I explaining my current health and need for pain management. The nurse took my file and after 10-15 minutes returned telling me that I need long term pain management and it is not what they do. The nurse took my file to Dr. Hillman, and the nurse returned with my file and told me I was going to require long-term management. I was promptly reimbursed and sent on my way, without recommendations.
