Still trying to find help for my mother
I am still livid at the lack of interest and communication with this Dr. 6 weeks we waited desperately to get help. We arrived and she was uninformed, apathetic and condescending…… still trying to look for help with geriatric dementia…

Played in cell phone
I waited month to see her. I was a new patient. My appointment arrived and I was taken into her office where a medical student asked me a series of questions. I turned to the doctor to answer and saw she was playing on her cell phone. I admit that I shot her a look and she saw. She briefly put the phone down. She became somewhat sarcastic after that and I feel she was not therapeutic. I was placed on a drug and had complications while taking it. I wrote to her about the effects. She said to stop it and tell her how I was feeling. I asked about alternative treatment and I never heard another word from her. No wonder there are mental health issues in the world with providers like this.

No help
We waited 6 weeks to get an appt for my mother. This was a very needed service to try and figure out what was wrong with mom. I sent emails with long history and journal entries of behavior along with videos and when we finally get thereShe had not reviewed anything about my mother’s care or even the results of the cognition testing She ordered! We left with no help and are still struggling to find help!

I went to Dr. Rais for a long period of time and thought she was a good doctor. When I moved out of Toledo, I went back to her once and after a few years, I wanted to make an appointment to go back again. She informed me that I would now be considered a new patient and I told her that I was not a new patient. But, apparently, because it been awhile since my last visit, I would be considered a new patient. I told her I wanted to make an appointment and she informed me that she was not taking any new patients. Needless to say, I was rather shocked because I had been a patient for quite awhile and we had a good rapport between us. So I would say to anyone that is a patient to realize that if you do not go back within a certain length of time, you will not be able to get an appointment unless she has decided to take new patients.

We had an appointment with Dr Rais. After waiting in her waiting room for 2 hours , we were told she was cancelling her patients for the rest of the day and that we would have to reschedule. Also, this was a return appointment for us. We had not seen Dr. Rais for 17 months but yet she has continued to refill an anti-psychotic drug for us without ever scheduling a return appointment. Total negligence.
