Dr. Alison Guptill, MD

This doctor did not listen to my issues, was clearly irritated I was asking so many questions, and then prescribed me medication that made me very ill. When I scheduled a follow up, she was even more irritated and short with me, then prescribed a medication I specifically said I cannot take. She did not take my issues seriously. Frankly, I think she shouldn't have a medical license.

Dr. Guptill truly cares about her patients. She takes the time to listen to you and the appointments are not rushed. I feel very comfortable talking with her and asking questions. She has a great, caring bedside manner and is vested in helping you. Highly recommend Dr. Guptill.

I have been a patient of hers for a few years now, and she has been very good about listening to my concerns and talking through possible options. She’s been good about working on preventative care, and taking time to talk me through treatments.

It has been about a couple of years since I saw this doctor but I will never forget her because she is one of the few doctors who actually made my condition WORSE. I was suffering from chronic coughing, fatigue, sinus infections, and fevers and she kept chalking it up to seasonal allergies (which I do have but rarely get symptoms like these). She prescribed all sorts of medicines, from OTC to prescription antibiotics and nothing worked. The last antibiotic she made not only did not do anything for my coughing and sinus issues, it totally destroyed my stomach. I came to find out later on (after doing my own research) that the extra-strong antibiotic she prescribed can cause severe stomach cramps and constipation. I found out that doctors normally warn about such side-effects but she never, ever mentioned anything about this. When I ate consumed yogurt, the stomach problems went away, but then of course my cough and sinus problems never went away.

Dr. Guptill is excellent and took the time to listen and answer all my questions. She was very thorough and pro-active.

Great physician, I will miss seeing her/team as I have relocated out of state.

My experience with Dr. Guptill and was excellent. She took her time getting to know me as well as in explaining things. I didn't feel rushed and feel like I am in good hands under her care.

After about 2 years of seeing Dr. Allison Guptil, I have come to the conclusion that she is in this profession for the money by prescribing medicines and orders labs. Her approach is to look at the numbers from the lab and prescribe medicines or send to specialists without looking at patients health or symptom. She does not wait for patients consent but proceeds her orders regardless. Patients beware.
