We were sent to her from Sturgeon Bay for TIA symptoms as a emegency. We were direct admission. We were there over 25hrs and NOT 1 VISIT FROM HER. SHE never showed up. We did a self check out and will file a grievance. Following up asap with our primary to find a new neuro guy/gal.

Saved my life
Telehealth
Had a stroke was taken straight to St Vincent Hospital where Dr Meyer immediately removed the blood clot from my brain by going into the brain through the vessels I was left with some loss of strength in my left hand. Without her and her team I could be totally incapacitated or dead. I truly owe my life to them.

Worst Dr you'll encounter
If Dr. Meyer is your neurologist, you need to run. She is the worst doctor I have ver encounter. Always beats around the Bush for answers and never finish the answer either. Although she may present a sympathy manner, if you listen to her words she does not disclose anything of importance regarding the patient care and plan going forward. All of the patients concerns are never addressed leaving herself in shock when she finally did a CT scan only to find out the patient had another a stroke during the time that she decided to ignore the patients concerns and prescribed pain meds instead. She is never prepared for any patient consults. And when asked about the test results her response is a blank stare and annoyance of you even asking. If Dr. Meyer is your neurologist, you need to run and transfer or so anything possible to not have her. She is the worst doctor and very inexperience and does not care about her patients.

My mother was rushed into the hopsital after suffering a stroke that left her unable to move the left side of her body. My brother was able to visit my mom in the emergency room where he met Dr. Nahara as she was explaining they would be taking my mom into surgery. We are, and will forever be grateful for Dr. Nohara for being so patient, caring and careful with our mother. She explained everything to my brother, while leading her team into a successful surgery. She did a wonderful job in surgery, that allowed my mother to wake up with little to no pain. She is recovering well and we know that we owe it to Dr. Nohara. We couldn't have asked for anyone better than her.

Dr. Nohara worked for Vassar Brothers Hospital in Poughkeepsie NY. I met her in the ER as I was having a serious TIA. She came in and took over and was very concerned at my age that I have Stenosis of Carotid Artery. She ran test after test and found out I also had Antipholosphid Disease which is I clot to fast. She really saved my life. My artery was 90% blocked. And none of the Drs wanted to put a stent in to open my artery up. Once Dr. Nohara seen how serious it was. She stepped in. I trusted her and she did what she had to. I owe it all to her. I believe if I did not get that stent placed. I might of had a serious stroke and I probably would be dead. Not having that stent in all these yrs. my right side of face is numb, vision little off, right side leg and arm and hand is very weak. And also have vascular problems in my legs and major migraines. I’m only 46 with all this. I would like to think Dr. Nohara for all her help. Once I got word she no longer practice here. ??????
