Dr. Alison Patterson, MD

I had seen Dr. Patterson several times throughout my five pregnancies and each time, I was disappointed with her care. Every visit, I was hopeful for a different experience and tried to give her the benefit of the doubt. The last straw was the final appointment with her when I brought up some simple and common pregnancy concerns (varicose veins) and her response was nothing short of a sneer and full of sarcasm. For better & necessary excellent care for myself and my baby, I decided to switch practices based on consistently terrible interactions with her.

My husband and I went to Dr. Patterson after learning of our miscarriage with twins in November. Our first doctor/appointment left us with so many questions and very little compassion but Dr. Patterson was so kind, patient, and thorough that we felt much more peace about our situation when we left her office. Throughout the entire process she was compassionate, listened to us, and just provided overall incredible care. She is the definition of a doctor who is in the profession because she cares about her patients. So grateful for her and the rest of the team at Rose that we worked with.

I really can’t say enough good things about the care I receive from the team at Rocky Mountain OBGYN. I came to the office 4 years ago, new to the state and to the city. I was overwhelmed by the support and compassion I received on my first visit. When it came time for surgery, Dr. Paterson treated me incredibly well, making sure I understood the process and providing excellent care throughout. And she answered my questions professionally and compassionately. There was something about Dr. Patterson coming in to see me in the surgery prep room that really made me feel like I was in great hands. I will truly be forever grateful for the excellent care I received from these incredibly skilled doctors who bring a sense of purpose and passion to their work.

She is absolutely the best doctor. She is so incredibly caring and is an amazing person. I would highly recommend her.

Dr. Patterson was 30 minutes late to my appointment and no apology given. She then made several insensitive comments related to the issue I came to the office for. May be good for OB patients, but terrible bedside manner for post-menopausal women.

Dr. Patterson guided my husband and I throughout our entire prenatal process and delivered us a healthy baby boy, making us feel supported every step of the way. I could not recommend her and the Rocky Mountain OBGYN team enough. We will absolutely continue seeing Dr Patterson for post natal care, general on health and any future children we have.

An outstanding doctor who listens, takes her time and answers all questions fully. As a post menopausal woman who experienced a bleeding episode, she was thorough and compassionate understanding my fears.

Dr. Patterson is the best! She is always so kind and caring. She truely listens and always answers all my questions. I never have to wait and she always spends ample time with me. This is my first pregnancy and she has made it a wonderful experience, even with a minor complication. She and her staff are wonderful!

Dr. Patterson has an incredibly warm and comforting bedside manner. She spends significant time answering questions and discussing concerns. I am confident in her skills and trust her decision-making. She is conservative in her approaches to surgery, which makes me feel more comfortable. I followed her from the Rocky Mountain OB/GYN practice at Sky Ridge to Rose.

Dr. Patterson and her staff are AMAZING! I'm a first time mom who did not take any baby prep classes -- but no worries when you have Dr. Patterson as your provider. She answered all my questions --addressed all my concerns every single time. I felt she always had me and my baby's best interest in mind. Thanks to Dr. Patterson and her personal touches, I had a wonderful baby delivery exp + my baby girl was born healthy and happy --and I was up + walking the next day, what more can a mom ask for?!
