I have never left an appointment feeling so upset. I was in tears most of the appointment due to the treatment. I was five minutes late due to my husband getting in car accident. They never asked why I was late. (I even apologized to the receptionist as I am always punctual) But the nurse that checked me in mentioned how much time was left multiple times, treated me like I was five in the way she was speaking to me. The Dr came in and goes right into how far into the appointment we already were. She said we had to rush a couple times. I felt rushed, unheard, and zero empathy or understanding. I was told I have done nothing to help my pain. Not having a clue of my situation or why it took me so long to seek medical help. I have been doing everything I could at home, made huge and drastic improvements but came seeking more help and felt dismissed and ridiculed. This has never happened to me, I have never left a bad review, but felt it was warranted here. I will now research new doctors.

I found Dr. Putman to be biased, abrasive, abrupt and dismissive. I have issues in my back, knees, feet, elbows, and neck from using a Rollator Walker and from diminished physical capacity overall from COPD. I was referred to Dr. Putman by a well-respected Surgeon for noninvasive treatment options, like trigger point shot or cortisone shots anything other than pills. I was treated like a drug seeker, sent to PT and told she could not help me. Pathetic!

Overall she went over my care plan thoroughly I just wasn’t impressed that she stated she had 30 minutes with me. I did arrive on time so I’m unsure why that needed to be stated. I felt rushed . She was kind and efficient I just wasn’t super impressed.

I had my initial referral appointment today with Dr. Putnam for a review of my neck x-ray and treatment plan consultation. I was very impressed. She was upbeat and personable, while being very professional, knowledgeable and enthusiastic about my treatment. That was refreshing and put me at ease. She offered a lot of suggestions to help me address my neck pain, reviewed my images, drew diagrams, and answered all my questions thoughtfully and thoroughly.

Identified the cause of my sciatic pain when the radiologist hadn't. Very throrough in explaining alternative treatments, and then counseling me on appropriate prescription drugs and how to use. Dr Putnam would be my first choice if I have to go back with more spinal symptoms. Definitely a 'keeper'
