Doctor was verbally abusive to my wife and family
Hi. My wife and two children just came in for a visit because the night before, my son had puss coming out of his toe and this morning, he said it was still hurting. So I made an appointment because I take his health seriously. My wife said the doctor was unnecessarily rude to her from the moment he walked into the room. The first thing he said was not 'hello' or any other kindness but he curtly said 'Can you just sit back??' when she was exactly where she was told to be seated by the receptionist/nurse. There was a misunderstanding on a question of anesthesia (presumably asking if my son is allergic to it) but due to my wife's imperfect English, the doctor let out a sound of exasperation that was unprofessional and unnecessary. There was much more nauseating bullying but I I've hit the limit on healthgrades.com so suffice it to say, stay away from this doctor, especially if you're a minority, where my Asian wife felt extreme prejudice.

I had some foot issues and visited Dr. Rosenthal based on a personal recommendation. I found him to be very knowledgeable, able to take as much time needed to help answer any questions or concerns I had, and able to provide me with a range of options with estimated out of pocket costs.

I scheduled an appointment with Dr. Rosenthal for an ingrown toenail and his staff got me in the same day! Dr. Rosenthal took care of my painful nail on the same visit! I was very pleased with him and his Staff!

He diagnosed me with plantar fasciitis and I was out $550 for Orthotics. When I went in two weeks later to complain of horrible knee pain he yelled at me. Told me I did not follow his instructions and was causing my own pain. My knees only got worse, in the end I had to shell out more money for a orthopedist, who confirmed my knees sockets were out of line because of the orthotics. Now I need therapy for my knees...because of a podiatrist who only wanted to make money.

Dr. Rosenthal did correctly diagnose an issue that someone else had gotten wrong. My concern was not with his recommended treatment. I was in a fair amount of pain and he steered me towards his laser therapy ($450 for 6 sessions). Later when I had time to research it, it isn't covered by insurance as the data doesn't show that it works. He would not provide a refund for unused sessions. I had the, perhaps incorrect impression, that it was a money maker than a valid treatment.
