There is no eye Dr. I trust more than Dr. Pielet. I once worked for an optometrist-so I know more than a little about regional eye doctors. As far as I'm concerned-he's the best! He did my cataract surgeries-one of which was right after a retinal detachment-those surgeries went as smooth as silk! Highly recommended, even though he doesn't need the business because he's always busy! I've been his patient for quite a few years and will continue to be, as long as he is in practice!

I've not idea how anyone could rate this doctor less than 5 stars. He is caring, confident, and extremely knowledgeable. He's performed over 20,000 lens replacement surgeries; has worked with the same surgical team for over 20 years; and clearly has the respect of everyone with whom he has contact. My husband and I absolutely could not be more pleased with the care we have received at his office.

I permanently damaged and lost vision in my right eye in 1986. For nearly 30 years Dr. Pielet has provided the care I need to sustain very good vision in my left eye. I have had retina separation twice in the last ten years, the latter in 2010 resulting in a vitrectomy (sp) and a subsequent lens replacement. My recent visit revealed my vision still at 20/20. I trust Dr. Pielet with my and my families future, I consider him my friend.

Does not hesitate to consult with other physicians when presented with an unusual situation .Takes as much time as necessary according to patient's needs. In emergent situations provides patients with all contact information. Caring, thorough, and is able to think outside the box. One of the best opthamologists in the area.
