Cured my chronic sinusitis where several other doctors failed to. I trust him and wouldn't see anyone else.

I had seen Dr. Seiden 2 1/2 years ago for allergies. I sat in the room for 45 minutes (after sitting in the waiting room) before he came in. He looked at my ears, nose, etc. and prescribed me with Allegra. My pharmacy tech called and told me I could buy it over the counter for $12 instead of paying $60. Then I saw him this time because I am pregnant and have constant right ear ringing. After waiting a while ago, he came in the room for 5 minutes and told me there was nothing he could do.

Was too busy dealing with issues that had nothing to do with me. Left me waiting in exam room for 30 minutes, spent 5 minutes in the room with me and didnt address one of my main complaints/symptoms. Just felt like he didnt listen and left me sitting to deal with more important things. Told the checkout receptionist this and was completely blown off. Very, very unhappy with my experience. .

He spent more time out of my exam room than he did in (at least an hour outside, while I was waiting inside). He prescribed a new medicine but didn't get it authorized for over a month. Very disappointing. No personal touch at all.

Went for acute tinnitus and hearing loss in right ear. My hearing test was mostly normal so Seiden did not want to pursue further diagnostics. I was floored because I was really not able to hear from that ear and I asked him what could be causing this and he told me (verbatim) "I don't know, it just happens". He didn't want to see me again, nothing... Year later went to different ENT. Hearing test showed that I am deaf in right ear and MRI shows a brain tumor.

I am deaf from a virus I contracted two years ago at my job at UC Health, Cincinnati. My deaf ear has been popping and all Dr. Seiden could say after two minutes was I don't know what you're talking about, we'll set you up with a hearing test and left the room. The one star is for gracing me with his presence, that's it.

Did not ask basic diagnostic questions after a hearing test, told me not to bother with hearing aids. Later visit to another ENT uncovered problem that IS helped by hearing aids and eventually will require surgery, which allows me to plan ahead. This doctor, though, is cold in manner, disinterested, and actually seemed to delight in giving me a no-hope, deal-with-it-on-your-own answer. See anyone else.
