She is only concerned with getting paid off surgeries. She allows her fellows and resident doctors to do everything.

Dr. Axtell has been my gynecological oncologist since diagnosis of ovarian cancer (3C) in July 2014. She is one of the finest physicians I've ever known, she is thorough, available, HONEST and careful. She is highly regarded by her colleagues and is considered an excellent physician and surgeon.

The best thing about Dr. Axtell is her NP Susan Moon. Dr Axtell will have an intern or Susan give you your results, communicate with you, talk to you about treatment. I haven’t heard from her or seen her in years. Not during any of my appointments or thru messages. She’s making the money for pushing responsibilities off on others. I saw her sitting in her office reading a book while someone who did not know my chart or was doing her job by rattling off statistics. No care what so ever. I watched her ignore a patient who was asking her something (she wasn’t busy, was just standing in a doorway). She told the patient to ask Susan. Susan should be paid the big bucks. I thought I had found a great doctor, first visit was kind and informative. But after that I became invisible. I feel uncomfortable when I go to the facility. After all this time I’m now afraid to see her. It makes me very sad to think she doesn’t actually care. That’s all we want. To be cared for and about.

Only offers initial exam consult then leaves you to die

Dr Axtell has been treating me for my Ovarian Cancer diagnosis since 2016. I have not had a recurrence since my initial diagnosis. It's my 5 year check up this week. Thankful to God for her support. Im hopeful in the midst of the grief that still visits me.

Dr. Axtell performed my recent Bilateral Salpingo Oophorectomy. Her extensive experience instills well deserved confidence during a stressful time. You will have her undivided attention every moment of every visit. She is professional and direct while remaining personable. I truly believe I had the best care possible as her patient.
