Smart and knows her profession and stays up to dat
Extremely thorough when you have an appointment. Your vision is tested, your blood pressure taken and your eyes dilated with each visit. Also your eyes are photographed so your retinas can be evaluated. She takes the time to review her findings and explains her findings.

Dr. Menezes is very knowledgeable and very thorough. She projects a caring attitude for her patients. She considers the treatment of vision beyond the eyes and reviews your health holistically. An excellent physician to place your trust in for your care.

I recently had a frightening experience with a retinal tear in my right eye. I saw doctor Allison Menezes at Coastal Eye Institute in Sarasota. She was very thoughtful and thorough in her care and treatment. I’m extremely grateful to her and all the staff at Coastal Eye for outstanding treatment in a very urgent matter.

My experience with Dr. Menezes was the polar opposite of the other exceptional reviews she has received on this site. She was abrupt, uncommunicative and answered my questions chiefly by handing me a brochure. I even tried sending follow-up queries via email and her staff and got no answers This was an extraordinarily negative experience. I have since seen another retinologist and had my questions answered with courtesy and professionalism.

very efficient, compassionate, & friendly staff generally a very busy office(Sarasota), but they are efficient with scheduling Dr. Menezes is very professional, takes adequate time to deal with patient's issues and has been a Godsend for me with my disease(macular degeneration) :)
