Dr. Allyse Weltman, MD

I have been a patient of Dr Weltman’s for many years. She is so kind and compassionate. She has always been there for me through some extremely challenging issues in my life. She is very Knowledgeable and I have great confidence in her abilities as a doctor. I can’t imagine having anyone else as my gynecologist. I would highly recommend her. She is just the best.

Dr. Weltman entered the wrong code for my pap smear test, so Medicare does not want to cover it. Labcorp sent me a $169.48 bill and a Collection Notice because I didn't pay. I have been calling the OBGYN telephone number innumerable times to ask them to make a code review, but I cannot reach a person to talk with. I am dealing with this issue since September last year, and did not have a solution yet. Labcorp insists that OBGYN must do a code review.

The staff and doctors of "About Women OBGYN" have no sense of customer service or any respect for patients! I have never had such a terrible experience with any other doctor before. During my appointment with Dr. Weltman, she agreed to order refills for my prescriptions, 2 weeks later and 2 phone calls with more than 10 minutes of being on hold each time, a very rude and obnoxious nurse named Kimberly (and another nurse named Jill that was trying to cover for everyone) told me that Dr. Weltman has sent an internal note that she will not order my prescriptions, despite what she told me during my appointment! This is absurd and ridiculous.

I absolutely love Dr. Weltman! I always feel supported during my visits and she honestly wants the best for her patients.

This 'lady' shouldn't be a doctor. Doctors, even if they don't care personally, should at least be professional. She is neither caring nor professional and quite bad at diagnosis, treatment measure and advice. She doesn't realize EVERYTHING she rants to her staff ABOUT her PATIENTS can be heard from the exam table. Or worse, maybe she does and she wants them to hear how she thinks they are a waste of her time. Her exact words. So there you go. If that is the level of "care" you are looking for,

I adore dr Weltman!!! She is knowledgable and truly concerned about her patients. She spends the time needed for each patient. Always up to date on latest meds and procedures. I would highly recommend dr Weltman to anyone!!! Best of the best in the area.
