The care I received was exceptional. From my first contact with the office, all the staff was friendly and knowledgeable. I was having trouble with my left eye after cataract surgery and had seen three prior optometrist. It felt like I had sand in my eye all the time. Dr Hoehn did an examination and solved the problem I was having with my irritated eye. She was the only one who took the time to thoroughly examine me, determine the problem and remove the eyelashes that have been in my eye since my surgery. I would highly recommend her. She is an asset to her profession.

Dr. Hoehn is an awesome ophthalmologist both professionally and personally. She has everyday concerns for her patients and shares their concerns.

I live in Moscow, Idaho and I was overdue to have cataract surgery. I went to 3 different eye care specialist before finding Moscow Family Eye Care. I wanted someone I could trust with my eyesight and to have the surgery done here in Moscow, not Lewiston. Dr. Alyssa Hoehn is caring, skilled and has a highly trained staff who are the same. If you need cataract evaluation/surgery you would be fortunate to receive their care. I have my vision restored and couldn't be happier.

You guys are AMAZING!! Dr. Hoehn is the BEST. I feel so comfortable with her directing and doing all my eye care, including the surgeries!! My first cataract surgery is so great, even after only 72 hours. I can see so much detail in the needles on the trees and the pine cones. Office visits and surgery sessions make me feel not only like I am in professional hands but the care of someone who wants the very best outcome of that care for me. Dr. Hoehn and her excellent staff has provided that connection - every time. She's the best!

We were in an emergency situation. My wife had a stroke a few days before and the hospital told her to see an ophthalmologist ASAP. I wrote Dr. Hoehn directly the Sunday that my wife left the hospital. Dr. Hoehn responded Sunday evening that she would make room for Jolie any time in the upcoming week. She saw Jolie Wednesday, and was also able to check progress on my macular degeneration, while intermittently keeping her own watchful eye on her three-year-old! We are both pleased and impressed. Thank you.

We love this office! My daughter is a student at Washington State (far from home). She had an emergency eye issue. The office was closed. We left a message on the emergency number and received a call right back from Dr. Zaugg who went out of his way on his day off to meet us at the office. He took such great care of my daughter. He gave me complete peace of mind. He figured out what was happening, prescribed the right antibiotics and met back up with my daughter until the problem was resolved. Dr. Zaugg went ABOVE AND BEYOND to take care of our family. A HUGE THANK YOU!

Love Dr. Hoehn. She open, friendly and just over all a nice person. As a doctor she excells. I have to drive 45 miles to see her, but seeing her is worth the drive, even though I could get treatment closer to home. Won't change.

I recently read a blog post by Dr. Hoehn entitled "Is Laser Assisted Cataract Surgery Better Than Traditional Cataract Surgery?" I called her office to make a "telephone appointment" so I could speak with her in more detail about this article. I was able to talk with her the next day after she had finished clinic. She took the time to answer all of my questions and explain things so that I better understood my options in my specific "eye situation". I offered to pay for this consultation, but she declined and simply said that she was happy to help. Not only did she show compassion by taking the time to talk with me after 5pm, but demonstrated a thorough knowledge of the options before me. I am jealous (in a good way!) of all of you that live in the Moscow, Idaho area who have access to such a wonderful ophthalmologist. (I live in Tennessee, so it would be quite a ways to travel to be one of her patients!) I would highly recommend that you consider her for your eye care.

Dr. Hoehn's skills surpassed the treatment that I had received from Lewiston and Spokane! I am grateful to have most of my vision returned under her careful procedures. Some of my treatment involved injections into the eye. Scary stuff ... but her careful care made them easier to do and I felt more at ease than any where else where I was receiving the same treatments.

I've been a patient since her open house introduction. At the time of that open house (establishing the practice), I voiced an eye challenge that had been going on just a few months. She took me immediately into the office and found the cause, and sent me in for treatment shortly thereafter. Our family is grateful, and we continue to go there.
