My son was assigned Dr. Lebel as his neurologist and pain management dr. at boston children's hospital several years ago up until his death in 2010 from Juvenile HD. She is a remarkable woman who is extradinary in every capacity of a doctor i have ever witnessed. Not only is she beautiful and soft, kind, calming, soothing, she is brilliant, intelligent, knows intricate details to the brain that goes beyond what machines can understand or detect. Without this woman my son would not have lived to the age he did. I would not have had the education with understanding seizures and triaging them and manging pain and neurological symptoms to the degree i was able to do as a parent. Of course, i had t o be willing to stay at the hospital to learn and observe to work with her, but what parent would not do that? She would take my calls even when she was on vacaton half way around the world. She would take my calls in the middle of the night. She is a gem.

Dr. Lebel has not been able to solve my daughter's neurological issues over the last couple of years. However, she has remained kind and compassionate and shown genuine concern for my daughter. She has made referrals for additional input from other providers, communicated with these other physicians, and has made phone calls to our family concerning my daughter's care. She treats my daughter with respect and listens to her concerns.
