Dr. Amanda Carroll, DO

My appointment was an hour later than scheduled. Once she finally showed up she rushed through my exam and didn't care that I had questions and concerns. She was rude and flippant about the speculum hurting me too. I've never experienced that with any other obgyn before. She was also very rough during the breast exam. when i asked a single question for clarification she talked at me in a very condescending manner. she just made me feel violated during a vulnerable time. will never go back or recommend her to anyone else.

I should have read reviews before scheduling. I never made it to the exam room because the receptionist was too busy talking about her hair. I was the only one in the waiting room. I waited a half hour with no acknowledgement or greeting that I signed in. I stood to leave and all she said was you are checked in. I cancelled immediately and she didn't ask why just okay. Apparently her time was more important than a patient's.

My first appointment with Dr Carroll went great. She has a demeanor of knowledgeable confidence that really put me at ease. She really knew a lot about the gynecological symptoms that accompany long Covid. Her office was very accommodating and friendly as well. I felt like she cared and there was real value in the appointment. I’ve been to so many doctors appointments where I haven’t felt that way that I honestly had low expectations but then she blew me away. I feel confident saying she’s a very competent and professional doctor that really cares.

Dr. Carroll goes above and beyond for her patients. Thank you for your care.

Horrible bed side manor. Had me traumatized that I was going to lose my baby before ultrasound results came in yet. I would not recommend her to anyone!

I wish I could leave her less than one star because my experience was so terrible. She was by far the rudest OB I’ve ever seen. She was very aggressive, rushed, and didn’t seem to really care about my treatment or what I had to say. She made me feel like I was small, insignificant, and stupid. I hope to never see her again and if given the option I’d rather never go back to the OB again than to see her. I do not know how she’s still able to see patients with how she treats them, ESPECIALLY pregnant women who are already terrified and worried about their babies. I left the office sobbing and more confused than anything on how both me and my baby are doing. Never, ever see this women.

She's not even worthy of the 1 star. She is very rude and least personable doctor I have ever met. She is one of those doctors who just rushes through her patients to get them done and out of the door. I've had to meet with her 3 times due to my other doctor not being available and not once did she ask me if I had any questions or concerns. When I would mention that I had questions, she was visibly irritated and annoyed. At my last appointment, she made me feel so stupid that I left there raging mad and upset. I would never recommend her to anyone. I would avoid her at all cost. Find a different doctor!

Horrible. Barged into the exam room talking about the procedure. I had to interrupt and ask who she was because she did not introduce herself. She answered very rudely that she was the doctor. Quickly went over the procedure, said there was no recovery. In and out of the room in less than 5 minutes. Left the door open, and I hear her complain how she had to see 9 patients in 1 hour. That is not the patients fault and the care should not be subpar due to scheduling issues. Time came for my procedure, she was an hour late, didnt come in to talk to me. After the procedure she did not come in to tell me how it went, no one told me if I had stitches or glue, or anything. She spoke with my mother and started talking about another patient. Answered her phone and took off. I was lied to about the recovery time. The nurse before was great, but the one after literally rushed me into my clothes and shoved me out the door. No explanations, pain wasnt managed, nothing. HORRIBLE

TERRIBLE!!!! WORST "doctor" I have ever seen! She is very rude, immature, and unprofessional. I could hear her talking badly about other patients! Someone with that much attitude must be trying to compensate for lack of knowledge. When she was in my room, she didnt explain anything or act like problems were even "worthy" of her "expert" opinion. I swear I trust the nurses more and her. They zeem to know more than she does!!! Heartland is great, but Carroll is not. STAY AWAY FROM HER!!!!!

Horrible experience! She has a poor bedside manner! She didn't explain anything. She accused me of not drinking water. She obviously did not want to treat me. This was evident by the way she rolled her eyes while talking at me. Stay away, if you don't want to be violated.

She has a very bad attitude every time . She's rude and clearly doesn't care about her patients. Also she doesn't seem to know a lot about what she's doing . stay away!

Friendly, compassionate, and very knowledgeable.

Dr. Carroll was very helpful and understanding with my anxiety issues. She is very friendly and spends time with each of her patients.
