Dr. Amanda Guidon, MD

I had an extremely demeaning, degrading and traumatic experience during my appointment with Dr. Guidon. I was in disbelief at how poorly I was treated by Dr. Guidon and her staff. I came in with 5 different symptoms. When I showed and explained each one of my 5 symptoms, she made an insulting characterization about each one of my symptoms implying that in reality I was actually lazy rather than sick. She told me I needed to go back to work. However, I was not seeking disability nor needed the money; I am retired. She yelled at me ferociously that I had already seen 2 other doctors. However I was not aware that it is perceived as some sort of crime for a patient to see more than one doctor. My health insurance allows it and the laws of my state allow it. Worse still, I saw the other doctors because the first doctor felt I was not his department and continued to "bounce" me to other doctors. Thus, I was in fact following through on the advice of the previous doctors. I felt trapped.
