Dr. Amanda Pennington, MD

I do not have insurance and could not afford Obama Cares monthly fees. A friend who used to work with Dr. Pennington referred me to her when she opened her office and was taking new patients. I LOVE HER and her staff. I am not a sick person but would often skip going to the doctor even when I needed to, because of the cost of an appointment. Now I can afford to go when I am sick and receive excellent care when I do. I can also schedule well-visits and necessary yearly appointments.

We recently signed up with Dr Pennington's Direct Primary Care practice and have been super pleased so far. I scheduled annual physicals for myself and my 2 kids and she set aside 3 hours (YES! 3 HOURS!) for our appointments! It didn't take us that long, but it was so refreshing to not feel rushed, and to feel like Dr Amanda was really trying to get to know us and our needs. I have since had several email conversations with her and she is prompt in replying. The way doctoring was meant to be!

Warm smile to greet you. Took time with me. Felt comfortable and at ease. A very caring doctor who wants the best for her patients.Saved me money on my meds. I have insurance were I work for the major things. I do recommend you go see Dr.Pennington. Texted a question to her,y answer came back in 15 minutes. Not hours or a day later. Will keep going back. I really liked Dr. Pennington during my early visits. She was easy to talk to and made me feel relaxed, so I thought she would continue to be empathetic and approachable, as we are both women of a certain age. However, at times she did not seem to take me seriously, and in one instance, after getting a second opinion, I determined she was not as thorough as I would have liked or expected.
