Sad she's not at Rice Street anymore
I love Dr. Vickers so much and I'm sad that she's no longer at Rice Street in Wilmore. Our family has been at that practice since 2009 but we're going to go wherever she goes next. We always trusted Dr. Coburn then Dr. Flannery until he retired. Dr. Vickers is AMAZING. But the 'business decision' St Joe's network made seems to be the wrong one. Probably didn't cram enough people in every day because she actually spends time with her patients. So sad.

Thorough, respectful, honest
The reception staff was courteous and friendly. Dr. Vickers herself was extremely thorough and explained everything. I went to have blood drawn for labs and before they drew blood they presented me with a written estimate of my portion of the charges and asked if it was acceptable to me! At every point I felt attended to, respected, and like Dr. Vickers and her staff were on my team.

When blood test results were at a level where my medication dose could stay the same or be reduced, my doctor asked for my input as to which option I would prefer. Since I have taken that particular med for over 30 years, and I know how my body responds to it, I love that she wanted my input on the dosage.

Dr Vickers was absolutely wonderful.
Dr Vickers was very informative and knowledgeable. Listened patiently and tenderly to my concerns. Appointment was on time and the staff went out of their way to get me in the next day. When I asked her why someone else had rated her so poorly, she answered, “It happened in Missouri at a time when the clinic was extremely understaffed. It was not in Kentucky.” I highly recommend Dr. Vickers. I found her very personable and so willing to work with you.
