Dr. Amber Newell, DO

Dr Newell took time with my husband and paid attention to subtle symptoms. She saved his life. We cannot be more thankful for her commitment her clarity and thoughtfulness in communication, her focus on diagnosis and not just symptoms and her comprehensive assessment and planning. We are so fortunate to have been her patient-thank you Dr Newell

She is absolutely no nonsense. She provided a very high level of quality care to my mother. It was our second visit to the ER in a week and the ER at the beaches missed diagnosed her. My mother has Multpile Myeloma. The ER was crazy busy but she made time to explain the tests, and assured my mother she would not leave the ER without knowing a full diagnosis. Is she very authoritative? Yes! But compassionate and kind too.

She is absolutely THE WORST doctor that I have ever encountered. She was rude and spoke down to me in a very patronizing way. She assumed that I was homeless and pushed me out of the door with nothing on but two blankets wrapped around me to walk home (a home that I own in Avondale, 2.3 miles away from st.vincent). I was in the ER due to pregnancy and had fainted in the bathtub and arrived at the hospital without any of my information via ambulance.I will be reporting her to the Board of health
