Dr. Vedre is the only doctor I ever recall asking me a simple, yet profound question: “What do you think is going on with your heart?” Despite living a very healthy lifestyle I was diagnosed with heart disease at a relatively early age. Dr. Vedre was the only cardiologist who looked deeper and determined that I had a genetic condition that does not respond to a healthy diet and exercise. He got me on a treatment path different from the standard protocol that will hopefully prevent heart attack and stroke. He listens to patients and is genuinely humble and concerned. And he is very knowledgeable and stays on the forefront of cardiovascular research. I’m grateful to have found him!
