Rude and unprofessional
Unwilling to provide information required from primary care physician for Medicaid. When questioned about his failure to provide required information he lies and gets aggressive with the patient. He also makes adjustments to medication without discussing it with the patient. Very unprofessional!

Avoid!!! A Disgrace & Utterly Useless!
Telehealth
Completed a telehealth visit with him sitting in the dark. First red flag. Explained my COVID symptoms. He immediately disregarded everything I said as he read through my chart and was aware I was a nurse. His only recommendation was to go to the ER. Which is ridiculous, costly, and the last thing I want to do with my symptoms is go sit for hours in an ER feeling awful to only be sent home with some corticosteroids which he could have easily prescribed. The point of telehealth is to keep people out of the ER for illnesses that could be handled at home. He must have forgotten the oath he took.

I was in North Bay hospital for 3 weeks and had the opportunity to see at least four hospitalists or internists during my extended stay. My medical problems were numerous including COPD, emergency abdominal surgery, septicemia and others. I received excellent care from all the physicians involved but Dr Marcus showed not only a high level of skill and knowledge in his field but an understanding and compassion unmatched by the other treating physicians. He followed my care regardless of which floor I was moved to and although I am unable to treat with him outside the hospital setting, my wife will now be seeing him as her doctor in his own practice. We feel very blessed to be able to continue our relationship with Dr Marcus in some capacity outside the realm of NorthBays community of wonderful staff.

Horrible
My mom went to the ER at North Bay Hospital with severe pain in her stomach and back and had a seizure from it, they did CAT scan and MRI on the brain and found nothing. I told them that a few years ago she had been hospitalized with a severe case of diverticulitis and had an abscess that needed to be drained and that they need to do a stomach scan. After 36 hours at North Bay Dr Marcus discharged her without any proper diagnosis, pathetic. No thanks to him we're now on our way to get a scan a week later and hopefully we'll find out what's going on

Hospital Stay
Dr. Marcus took great care of my grandfather when he had COVID. Even when my grandfather went crazy because of the steroids he was given, Dr. Marcus was patient and kind. We never had to worry, Dr. Marcus made sure to call us and give us an update on my grandfather everyday, sometimes twice a day. I would trust Dr. Marcus with myself or any family member without a doubt!!! Overall a positive experience. Thank you Dr. Marcus!!!!!!

“Dr Marcus” treated my mother at Morton plant hospital emergency room. This man shouldn’t even be allowed to practice medicine. She was brought in for stomach pains and vomiting. After telling my mom they were going to have to put her in a nursing home, he spent 3 day checking her heart. At one point, he wanted to send her home without knowing what was wrong with her. By the time he decided to check her stomach, it was too late. They had to do major surgery as she had become septic. We lost our mom this week, due to his neglect. I wouldn’t recommend him to my worse enemy. Beware
