Dr. Amit Joshi, MD

What always struck me about the entire UCM operation is how robotic these doctors are. Joshi will literally have a conversation while staring at the computer. He is robotic. Anyway, I came down with COVID and needed a quick message exchange, ideally leading to Paxlovid prescription. His messaging system indicated response up to 48 hours. It’s hour 55. Nothing. If you like your doctor to walk and look like a human, but be pleasant - but robotic in the conversation, he’s your guy. If you want a doctor who listens, pays attention, and responds in a timely fashion, you will be disappointed. Ended up doing an on-demand doctor visit and antiviral med was prescribed.

Very nice and always informative. Has been my regular doctor for years. He’s great.

Dr. Joshi is a thoughtful and insightful doctor. Each visit we go over the medical details. I ask questions, he listens and counters. We try a new approach and I am back in 3-4 months to explore the latest medical goal.

Not friendly

I’ve had Dr Joshi for 12 years and he has been nothing but caring, friendly and understanding with me and my parents while alive. His practice has done everything in his power to help them. He’s wonderful!

Dr. JOSHI and his staff are extremely concerned. He treats you as if you were his family member.

The most attentive primary care provider I have ever met. He spends as much time with you as is necessary. He is never rushed, is very friendly and addresses every concern you may have. It doesn't matter that I live out of state. I drive 12 hours for appointments with Dr. Joshi.

Dr Joshi is the gold standard for physicians. He is extremely knowledgeable, doesn’t rush through the appointment. Treats you with kindness, compassion and respect

I cannot say enough good things about Dr. Joshi! He is kind, compassionate, listens closely and always does his best to find a solution to my problem. My parents went to him and loved him. A few of my friends go to him and love him. I've been seeing him since he started practicing and will continue. Thank you Dr. joshi for all you have done for my family and I!

Dr. Josh I has been my physician for over 10 years. I am an RN and can say he is one of the brightest, most caring doctor I have known in 50 years of nursing. He is very thorough, easy to talk to. And he truly cares about his patients, even how much your family dynamics might play a role in your life. Since he left the Orland office I cannot locate him. If it wasn't for Dr Amit Joshi my husband and I could have died on numerous occasions. He recommends the best of the best in the fields that we have needed. I would follow him as long as I am able to. He's awesome. I would and have recommended him to other people.

Very judgmental. Does not listen at all. Comes off as extremely arrogant. Talks down to you and walks on a high-horse. I never felt more uncomfortable. He will rush through the appointment, making random decisions not based on how your feeling. He is not culturally sensitive at all for working a "diverse" practice. He needs to learn kindness along with empathy. Shame on you Dr!!!! He needs to take a class on how to relate to people- it may not always be as it appears; not everything a textbook

Dr Joshi is the best doctor I ever had. First he listens to what you have to say . He is very professional and knowledgeable He provides genuine care and comfort. He follows up with you and makes you feel at ease
