Dr. Amita Bhalla, MD

Dr. Bhalla is an attentive and thorough physician. I would often get bumped to Dr. Bhalla when my main PCP was unavailable. During my physical she asked me how often I exercise and I told her I did rigorous cardiovascular exercise 3-4 times a week. Earlier in the appointment she had even noted that I had lost weight since my last appointment. Despite all of that she said that I really should be exercising at least 5 times a week. I think that is an unrealistic standard, especially while raising very young children. She does things by the book but doesn't seem to adjust given patient context.

I have been seeing Dr. Amita Bhalla for years. I like her bed side manner. She explains a condition and the medicine being prescribed for it. She will listen to your questions and concerns. I feel she really cares for me as a patient and a person.
