Dr. Amy Forrest, MD

I had my first visit with Dr Forrest in 2024 for a routine checkup. She was very easy to talk to and made me feel comfortable with any questions I had. I have already referred her to a family member.

I saw Dr. Forrest last year for my first-ever pap smear and OBGYN appointment. The entire time I was in there, I felt like I was not being listened to or even cared for. The assistant that she had in there seemed to be more compassionate and attentive than she was. I told her I didn't want to go on birth control and she literally called in a prescription for me right then, I then asked if she could explain the side effects and she just gave me a vague answer not specific to that bc, I told her I hadn't been sexually active in two years and she made me get tested for STDs because she didn't believe me when I said my ex was tested and was fine, and she just basically rushed me out of the room. The only redeeming quality was that the pap smear did not hurt at all and she seemed competent in that regard...I wish everything else was a positive experience that made me want to see her again.

I went to Dr forrest a couple of times and ended up going to another docter bc she is very rude. She will hurt your feelings in just mins if she don't like you. She also told me that one of my problems I had was not that bad and come to find out it was worst.She was very judgemenal to. I also felt like everytime I talked to her she was making fun of me. Very rude and judgemenal. I don't know why I am filing this out bc I am sure she and other docters don't care what patiets write about them

I was recommended to her 12 years ago by a friend. The advise she gave me as a younger woman did not end up being true. Almost every time I have gone in she has been wrong and I have ended up going to someone else. I would not go to her. She is hard to get into also and I hear from physicians friends she is not a good surgeon.

Very understanding, a wonderful doctor.
