I do not give Dr. Foxx-Orenstein even one star. I give her a ?? and will never return to this physician or the Mayo Clinic. My 2018 routine colonoscopy-Dr. Orenstein entered the surgical suite, turned up the volume on the western music feed and proceeded to dance while checking my admitting notes. She didn’t ask about my sensitivity to medication or past history with anesthesia. Had she, I would have informed her that I am very sensitive to medication. Once the procedure begin, and while I was under sedation, Dr. Orenstein reported that I showed signs of pain. She added Fentanyl to my anesthesia. My respiration dropped requiring assistance from a medical team to revive me. I was given the rescue drug Narcan. Dr. Orenstein reported to my husband that she had an injured arm and had difficulty performing the colonoscopy-poor judgement! I filed a complaint with the Mayo Clinic and AZ Board of Osteopathic Medicine. Both institutions have failed to hold Dr. Orenstein accountable.

I just write reviews for good doctors but had to break down & write this sadly. She made fun of my tourettes, said everything was psychiatric turned out to be Gastroparesis, luckily now getting treated. She had others in support group leaving in tears & has had 5+ formal complaints written. I will no longer return to Mayo because of her.
