Dr. Amy Galdamez, MD

Several years ago when I first started seeing her, I would have said she was the greatest! I recommended her to everyone! I’m not sure if it’s office policy changers or what but there has been a real lack of empathy when discussing my miscarriage, and when I’ve gone in and tried to discuss my concerns I feel very rushed and that my concerns are not taken seriously. When suddenly I have painful periods, low libido, and temperature intolerance… she wrote a prescription for pain meds and sent me on my way. I wanted answers, not a cover up. She is great if you’re normal with no issues, and easy low risk pregnancy. But if you fall into this categories I suggest you look elsewhere.

PLEASE DO NOT GO HERE BY ALL MEANS. THEY DO NOT ADVOCATE FOR PATIENT SAFETY!!!!! The providers are so busy that they forget about their patients medical needs. Dr. Amy Galdamez neglected patient care by not removing my IUD over a month it being expired. It should have been removed on my annual and wasn’t. I had to make a second appointment and received a second billing statement. This second appointment was not necessary. Insurance could have paid for majority of this on the FIRST APPOINTMENT. Donnie Curtis, the clinic manger told me nothing could be done about the bill or situation and that I was at fault. Here at this clinic apparently patients have to remind the doctors how to do their job. The manager brushes patients concerns over and minimally care. Reasons not to go here: 1. When calling you will have difficulty getting through to them. I have had to call over 10+ times to get through. I've used Dr. Galdamez for several years. She has been awesome always, but I had a health scare a couple of years ago, and I couldn't say more about her compassion. She is an excellent doctor and is so easy to talk to.

After moving cities and leaving an ob/Gyn that I loved and adored, I found Dr. Galdamez! She was pleasant and took her time reviewing and going over my medical history. She was thorough and answered all my questions. I have finally found my new doctor and couldn't be happier. Highly recommend this physician! Also, all nurses and office staff were courteous and professional!

She is truly a blessing!! I starting going to her when I was 20 weeks pregnant (we had moved from California) and the second I met her I knew I had made the right choice. I told her our plans of a natural birth and she was supportive of everything. When it can time for my baby, the whole birthing experience couldn't have gone more perfect. I have her and my labor/delivery nurse to thank for that.. and my husband! ;)

After 25 years going to my doctor he retired and I felt lost since I had developed such a good doctor patient relationship. After three minutes visiting with Dr. Galdamez I knew I found the best doctor for me. She talks in terms you understand and nothing is considered a silly question. I can see why she has the awards listed on her bio, just a quality person and caring doctor.

Dr. Galdamez was amazing! She explained everything and answered every question I had. She took amazing care of me in the hospital. She made you feel like family and not just some patient. I am very pleased with the way she treated me and my baby. I will be back to see her with my next one! Thank you so much for everything Dr. Galdamez you were great! ??
