She operated on my brother's Abdominal Hernia recently. She did an excelent job with just few tiny incisions . I highly recommend this physician.

Her ego got in the way of her making the right medical decision. Would have killed me if I had listened to her And not gone to another doctor and hospital

Dr Mostafavi is simply the best! I believe she saved my husband's life by operating on his blocked bowel on pretty short notice. She is a brilliant surgeon and very compassionate. I cannot recommend her highly enough!

I would HIGHLY recommend Dr. Mostafavi above all other surgeons. She definitely saved my life.. She does not give up on her patients no matter what. She is such a professional and expert at what she does and she does all of this with such kindness and super bedside manner. If one could rate her above 5 star she would be way above! A surgeon amongst surgeons Excellant doctor thats why she is head surgeon at JFK. You will not find a doctor more caring than Dr. Mostafavi. She is the BEST!

I met Dr Mostafavi back in 2007 as part of my team with a neurosurgeon for major back surgery- they would be doing an anterior opening and she was needed for the opening, approach and close- she kind, caring and informative - about a week after surgery I noticed some gunk in one of the staple areas (24 in all) and called her office- I was not only brought in immediately- but saw me being put in a room on her way into another room when she found out why I was there and instantly came in to see me

Dr. Mostafavi repaired two ventral hernias that were causing me a lot of pain. She did an amazing job and I am very happy with the way it turned out! Dr. Mostafavi was very professional and sweet! I would highly recommend her!! The office staff was also very accommodating and nice to me!
