Dr who thinks outside the box for autoimmunity sym
The most knowledgeable dr. In the area and one of the very best in the world. Outside the box thinking and actually takes time with her patients. Her “new patient “ appointments are close to 2 hours and we went over everything.

My wife and I have seen Dr. Offutt multiple times, and she is the best physician either of us has had. We’re in our seventies, have moved multiple times and have had multiple family physicians.

Dr. Amy Offutt and her staff are truly phenomenal. When I say that they have saved my life, I am not exaggerating. I had seen MANY doctors before Dr. Offutt and no one was able to get to the root of my problem. Dr. Offutt was the first doctor to truly help me. She is brilliant and she CARES about her patients. I owe my life to her! My entire family are patients of Dr. Offutt and we have received outstanding care consistently here since we started seeing her several years ago. Dr. Offutt’s nurse, Kathy, is AMAZING. She has always gone above and beyond to help me whenever necessary. I adore her. Shelley, Mary Katherine, Racritia, Ashley and the rest of the staff there are wonderful! The customer service that they provide is stellar. On top of that, they actually care about their patients and it shows! I highly recommend this practice. If you actually want to find out what is wrong with you and finally get restored = Dr. Offutt is the doctor to see.

She and her staff are knowledgeable, patient, loving and all around, awesome! I had a bit of fun this morning while in office getting my Lyme treatment. I had an anaphylactic reaction. Started small enough with stuffy nose and some itching but went into full throat closure. They started with just a Benedryl for itching, then as symptoms progressed quickly, they switched into full IV antihistamine and epinephrine. They were amazing!!!!! Sent me home only after 2+ hours of monitoring blood pressure and symptoms, and giving me 2 bags of saline and dexmethazone. I’ve had anaphylactic reactions to 3 antibiotics over the years, but this was by far the worst. We are unsure what caused the reaction, but she is putting a plan together to figure that out. She’s the first doctor that has ever written me a prescription for an epi pen, but didn’t want to take a chance not knowing what caused it. Again, can’t sing enough praise to her and her staff.

Dr Offut mis-read my labs and failed to address my true issues. She seems more interested in elective cosmetic medicine and may be ok for people whose issues could be eliminated by weight-loss, relaxation, and other non-medical avenues. However, if one has a complex or a true major medical condition, I feel it would likely be out of her league.

I was a patient of Dr Offutt's for 12 years. I like Dr Offutt; I believe she is knowledgeable & cares for her patients for the most part. The biggest problem is her front end staff which changes continuously. I have been on a physically addictive medicine for over 12 years, she said it would take 6 months for me to come off of safely, over a $75 bill (paid 5 days later) she dropped me as a patient, forcing me to try to come off the medicine in half the time. Ethical?? Not?? I will let you decide

What Dr. Amy Offutt, M.D. does is nothing less than amazing. Her love for others is apparent and her willingness to listen is second to none. She has treated me for my shoulder injury that I had had for over 20 years. And her Ozone and high dose vitamins have me feeling better than ever before. .

She called me in for an appt. right before I was to turn 65 yrs. old. (About to go on Medicare and she didn't take Medicare!) When I arrived, her P.A., Dana Burke, told me very cold heartedly that because I didn't make an appt. earlier for my thyroid, Dr. Offutt would have to let me go as a patient. I was appalled! No doctor had ever fired me, the patient, and no one from that office told me to call about making an appt. I felt so embarrassed! I would never let her touch anyone I love!

For a doctor, she is really good at what she does, but she never will give a person who is going through hard times a chance to make $20 payments a month until that patient can get back on her feet. I actually cried when they told me they could no longer see me because they sent my bill to collections, but the business office lady was very RUDE on the phone when I tried to explain I was not working and that I could give her $20, she wanted a BIG payment. I couldn't even feed my family???? :(
